Corner House Hotel

Recently had our wedding reception here and honestly couldn’t be happier with the service and staff went above and beyond in every way! Lovely room and really affordable. Highly recommend.

Stayed here for one night on business. The room was large but very basic and the bathroom facilities were not the best but clean and tidy. Wi-fi service was very poor which was frustrating when trying to work. The place does not serve dinner so we had to go elsewhere. However the hotel gets an extra star for the breakfast which was excellent. Very generous portions, piping hot and absolutely delicious. The best Lorne sausage I've ever had. I was in the North West of England and Scotland for business and the location was pretty close to the M74 which was very convenient.

Tired & dated hotel. Small, hot, room with extractor fans right outside window and pub noise at night. Shower was placed above a slippery bath. The extractor fan in bathroom was faulty. The only public space, the lounge bar, was dominated by noisy non-residents. To cap it all a sea gull banged on our room window at approx 5.00am every morning.||We, (2 couples), planned a 4 night stay. The room pre-booked by our friends, 4 months in advance, was unavailable. They had to move between rooms with nothing available for their last booked night. Because of that we cut our stay short and all went home.

Location is perfect in the middle of Annan. The receptionist and bar people are so friendly and lovely, very helpful. The rooms are clean and very comfortable beds. Location is so nice and easy to get around from.

We had our wedding here, Beth and Abi were the perfect hosts. The function room was perfect for the 30+ guests we had.

The check in was good. Lovely girl on reception. Rooms clean but dated and definitely need modernised. Comfy bed. Overall though we wouldn't stay here again.

We have stayed in this hotel numerous times over the past couple of years since my step daughter moved to live in the town. Each occasion we have found the staff to be exceptionally polite, friendly and professional. The rooms have always been immaculately clean. Yes the hotel looks a bit tired, but I’d rather have a clean room than a mucky one with flash furnishings. I think for the price you pay you can’t go far wrong. We stayed last weekend for my stepdaughters wedding which was held in the function room. Everything went smoothly , the staff were excellent and the buffet was really good. The function room itself a lovely size. We booked interconnecting rooms this time as we had travelled up with my teenage children and i have no complaints at all about the rooms. It’s was very convenient and yet we still had our own space, and for much cheaper than having to book separate rooms. We didn’t have breakfast on the hotel on this occasion but usually do and it has always been really nice! We will no doubt be back in a couple of months! See you soon!

Nice view looking over town and Beth went above and beyond referring my fiancé several local hairstylists when we had a last minute minute issue with her hair curler.
