Vall de Cavall is truly a gem! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the service is outstanding from start to finish. Chef Matheus is incredibly friendly and professional — he goes above and beyond to make sure every guest feels taken care of. The food is absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. Every detail shows the passion and care behind it. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience!

We’ve been back to Val de Cavall after such a long time, and it instantly felt like home — just as warm and welcoming as before. The food is absolutely amazing, full of flavour and beautifully presented, but what truly makes this place special is the service and genuine warmth from the team. Every visit reminds us why we love coming here. Highly recommend to anyone looking for great food, lovely ambience, and heartfelt hospitality 🤍

Stunning food, friendly staff and efficient service - perfection! Octopus was perfectly cooked. Hot bread, padron peppers, tiger prawns, croquettes, chorizo was all tasty.

Very friendly staff, that’s always nice. Fantastic food too, fresh whitebait, lovely mussels in wine sauce, but be prepared for high prices and fairly busy during ascot races, other periods I’ve been tasted ok though not as fresh or busy otherwise. But I think they could be if they lowered prices to attract families, couples etc regularly in the local area. After all regular dining at such prices is unsustainable.

My wife and I visited here for the first time about ten days ago in the early evening. They were not busy and the waiter who took our order appeared disinterested and was surly in taking our order. Then we were offered “warm bread” which we assumed was complimentary. We were charged £6.50 for half a small baguette. We ordered the baked salmon for my wife and I ordered chicken. They managed to produce two salmon! When they finally produced the right meals, my wife’s salmon was totally overcooked and inedible. My chicken’s mushroom sauce was tasteless and the chicken slightly overdone. They did not charge us for the salmon when we complained. This place needs to decide whether it is a tapas bar or a restaurant.TV in the restaurant area is not conducive to a nice meal out. We will never go back to this place. Avoid!

I had the pleasure of dining at this wonderful restaurant recently, and I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The warm and inviting atmosphere made me feel instantly welcome, and the service was attentive without being intrusive. A special mention goes to Chef Matheus, whose talent and dedication to his craft truly shine through in every dish. Each course was beautifully presented and bursting with flavour. It was a memorable dining experience that I would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone seeking outstanding cuisine and impeccable hospitality.

Delicious food and drinks, lovely and friendly service, and nothing is too much trouble. No long wait times, even when they’re busy. We keep coming back because the food is just too good. Keep it up, guys! 👍🏻
