Amazing place stayed here while seeing family. The staff are so kind and welcoming, brought my chihuahua and the staff were so kind to her (which you don’t usually get in hotels) breakfast was lovely really quick service. rooms were really clean and had everything we needed in, really enjoyed the hot chocolate sachets. The outside of the hotel is really nice looks clean everywhere. they also have a garden with a door in the hotel block which was so great with a dog. Really quiet during the night which is perfect for a good night sleep.

Lovely food, been going to the restaurant for a long time as its local but this evening solidified my love for this place. My youngest daughter (4) has food issues and both wait and kitchen staff were amazing with her, changing her order several times and eventually allowing her to create her own dish. Takes family friendly to a new level! Thank you so much Paolo and staff!

What a find this place is. Randomly picked it for a stop over on the way back from Scotland and very impressed. The staff were amazing, friendly and enjoyed a bit of banter as well. Food was fantastic. We both had steak on the evening of arrival and one of the best of not best fillet I’ve ever had, with proper chips too! Breakfast the following morning was also brilliant and tasty. Bacon cooked to perfection and proper tasty sausages. Will be back when that way on again.

Came for our friends wedding. The rooms are lovely and clean. The beds are nice and big plenty room to stretch out. The food in the restaurant was beautiful 😍 and the breakfast was fantastic. Staff where really helpful.

Due to a bad hotel which we checked out early from, we came (via Decimal Tenths' Nick) to Michelangelo's. We had an absolutely lovely room that was squeaky clean and felt homely. It's also worth to mention how delicious the food at the restaurant was, and if you come to there early, there's a very fair deal on a three course dinner. I couldn't recommend it more.

I have eaten here a lot in the past and food and service have been great, but not today. I was in a party of 3 and had booked for lunch at 1.30. We had problems with our drinks order as the waitress didn't know which cocktails were available in jugs, even after going to check. In the end 2 out of 3 drinks were not what we ordered, which we advised, but it wasn't corrected. We asked for our food order to be taken 3 times, after over an hour, we were still waiting, so left for Aroma, and had a beautiful meal there and the service was spot on. Hope this os just a blip

After living in Ryton for a few years we finally tried Michelangelo's for lunch today. Great experience and can't believe we haven't tried it sooner. We had the early bird menu- 3 courses for £11 with a £2 surcharge as we had the pizza/pasta 50/50. We were skeptical what the quality would be like but food was all great, they actually bought the kids meals out with our starters (my bug bear is kids food coming out last!), good portion sizes and excellent value for money. Will be back!
