I asked locals which was the better chinese in the village. If you really love a good chinese then order elsewhere. Meal for 2 was over £30 and for that I expected it to be bang on. The satay chicken and beef in black bean was sloppy goo. I dont think it had been anywhere near a wok, just assembled in a takeaway box. Rice was fine. Not much flavour going on in the dishes we ordered. Ribs were wet and covered in more sloppy gravy. Probably the worst ive had and certainly the worst value for money. Big mistake.

Really great food, tasty and huge portions! I’m a fussy eater too, so I was very happy. Highlights were the lemon chicken and the veggie spring rolls

Got a special chowmein don't know if it was chowmein no veg etc in it..no flavour..worse I've ever had...got chilli shredded chicken in batter still looking for the chicken and watered down sauce ...threw it all in the bin...

This was my first time at Lucky House and I was not disappointed, the meal was ready in a little time and it was delicious. Definitely would go again for a take away dinner.

Clean and smart. Friendly helpful staff. Food lovely. Picture of Beef and onion with vegetables and fried noodles and the beef was tender altogether tasty.

Food ok just all covered in same tasting goo . Not the best but not the worst. Very friendly staff and young boy on counter very polite.

We are visiting Brampton and this looked looked a good option after a long day walking Hadrian’s Wall. The phone ordering was easy, service friendly and order correct. Good value for money and portion sizes. Food quality also good. Singapore noodles had just the right curry tang, beef chow mein had tasty meat and good vegetables. Would happily order again.

I made telepohone order and was told it would be ready in 10 minutes! I don't know how you can prepare and cook a Chinese meal in 10 minutes. Unless its microwaved? Yes mine was. It was awful. Chicken s&s Hong Kong was very chewy, rice sticky and prawns in chow mein were tasteless and sauce very salty. Chips were just warm. Waste of money as went in the bin.
