Garden Cafe Brighton

Absolutely love this place! Garden Café on North Road is a little gem in the heart of Brighton. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, with lots of beautiful plants that give it a cozy, green vibe. They are super friendly and helpful, and everything I’ve tried so far has been delicious. Especially the quiches and cakes. They also have a great selection of teas and coffees, which makes it a perfect spot for a solo brunch or a quiet catch-up.

Should be called the Secret Garden, a real hidden gem. Beautifully decorated inside, just feels magical. A variety of drinks and cakes, but also proper meals, perfect for brunch on the weekend - try the sweet potato fries. Definitely worth trying this place out.

The view at The Garden Café is absolutely phenomenal ! We were surrounded by greenery that instantly lifts your mood and makes you feel fresh and positive. The staff are lovely: always helpful and welcoming, with warm smiles that add to the experience. The food portions were very generous for the price, and everything tasted great! One small detail that really stood out to me (and might go unnoticed by others) was how they presented my sourdough in the shape of a heart. It’s such a thoughtful touch, and it shows how much they care about the little things and their guests’ experience. Add to that the speedy service and clean, well-kept tables, and you’ve got a place I’d happily return to again. 💚🌸

Roses outside, curiosity inside. This place caught my eye immediately — green walls, wood accents, and plants spilling over every corner. Someone clearly cared about this space. It was packed, which made taking photos tricky, but I still managed to steal a few frames that felt worth it. The blonde girl at the bar greeted me with a smile. Didn’t stay for coffee this time — I was here for the light, the textures, and the visual mood. But something tells me I’ll be back, with time to sit.

Friendly lovely staff, thankfully managed to get a table and they provide takeaway cake, which was very much the icing on the cake! Best lavender latte to date! Great variety of food and drink on offer and dog friendly.

Lovely cafe full of plants, character and cake! I had 2 very nice lattes, a spiced pear and a lavender one. Both were delicious, though the lavender was definitely the best of them, not too strong but you could actually taste the lavender (beats most I’ve had before!). For food I enjoyed a salad, hearty and wholesome it was very nice indeed, balanced out with a delicious carrot cake. The choices of cakes and drinks are pretty much endless, which is great, but a little overwhelming when trying to pick something else to order. Same goes for the plants, making the place, though buzzing, feel a little cramped. That being said, the garden is gorgeous and would be incredible in the summer. The staff were nice and service was decently fast, a great achievement given how utterly busy it was! Thanks so much, I had a lovely time!

Best meal I had since I arrived in Brighton. Beautiful deco of outdoor garden. The food was delicious and beautiful crafted. Good price and big portion! Highly recommended! 😊😎
