Great homemade food. The menu is excellent and although there's sometimes a wait for a table it's well worth it. The best place in Kirkby Lonsdale for lunch. It's dog friendly too 👍

Wow! I only dropped in for a light bite and a drink and was pleasantly surprised at what was on offer. The choices our party had tasted fantastic, and is probably in some part to the food being cooked on the premises. We were so impressed by the quiche that we'll calling back on our way home to buy some to take with us!

We stumbled across this bakery on our holiday last weekend. The products are absolutely superb, light crumbly pies with heaps of filling. Mincemeat slice(sweet mince), has so much butter you think the dairy was next door. Fruit scones that are large, light and packed with fruit. Wonderful place, so good we changed out route home on Monday to revisit. Thank you so much.

I was left very wanting after my visit today. I asked for a cheese scone as they're my favourite but was presented with a very warm, fluffy (and not in a good way) scone cut in half with cheese melted over both halves! It tasted ok but I like mine cold with just butter! Didn't take long to eat as it was not very substantial! When I went to pay I wasn't sure where to go so I hung about until one of the staff said just go to the counter like I should have known! The cakes in the shop looked very nice but not a price anywhere!! Are they afraid to display them? So I won't buy if I have to ask!!

Nice location. Menus need to be clearer as it seems it's breakfasts only till 11.30 am then the lunch menu only after that. We arrived at 11.20 am our group was on 2 tables and most of us were wanting the lunch menu. One table was allowed to book off the lunch menu our table had to order off the breakfast menu and when we asked if we could change we were told no even though we were orderingat the same time. The only reason I stayed was because we were a group of friends celebrating 2 friends birthdays. The meat products were good quality but my toast was burnt and the egg, tomatoes and mushroomswere very greasy. On paying for my meal I was asked if I'd enjoyed my meal so I explained the above but there was no interest in what I was saying.

What a great bakery. Fabulous choice of cakes and savouries. We had the sandwiches one day which were amazing. We also bought the vanilla slice and the battenberg which again were fantastic. Today we had a breakfast sandwich and the sausage and bacon were fabulous,good quality sausage and bacon. The bakery also has a cafe in the back if you want to eat in. Definitely worth visiting.
