Asda Coleraine Superstore

Good encounters with staff, lots of clothes and food, but is an absolute maze to get around! It has very random aisles, no planning in placement.

Staff ignore you completely while walking about with their faces in their phones. If two or more staff members are standing together which happens often they will continue their conversation even if one I'd "assisting" you. Customer service is terrible. The shelves are a mess, no order to anything.

Very good shop, lots of aisles and items, only issue is that sometimes items are not in stock

Only half the delivery received. On hold several times to speak to customer care. 9 items missing.

Most badly run Asda I’ve ever been in. Staff in the scanning area really not interested, busy chatting to each other and if you ask a question they literally just shrug their shoulders.

Had an awful experience in store. I had a coupon on the Asda rewards app but wasn’t sure which product it referred to. I asked a female member of staff but she wasn’t sure either. She then asked a male colleague whose response was a dismissive ‘read the small print’. When I challenged him if he thought I couldn’t read he said oh I wasn’t talking to you. I said it was me who raised it so obviously he had meant me. His reply was ‘paranoid or what’. I then said I didn’t like his attitude and would make a complaint he said ‘go ahead I don’t care’. A colleague in customer services tried to get him to stop talking but he continued. I found his attitude bullying and condescending and not what I would expect in a customer facing role.

Had I realised the grim standard of service in the café I'd have gone to tesco - & will next time - theres a café nearby. Asked for veggie fry but counter staff tell me they don't do that - they 'do a breakfast' - sausage bacon etc, not a fry & certainly not vegetarian. LIE. Challenged this & was told 'sometimes asda doesn't stock vegetarian sausages'. LIE. 'The person who gets them didn't, today' & again when challenged ADMITTED they're that person, then a victim monologue about having NO TIME. By then I'd lost my apetite! Customer service called a manager who'd been behind me in the queue, heard everything & said nothing. Sympathetic, but reiterated same EXCUSES as café counter. It's the LIES & TIME WASTING that gets to me. Won't happen again. There's better out there. CUSTOMER SERVICE, HOWEVER, WAS ON POINT!

It took me 20 minutes as the only customer waiting in the line to get a tuna and cheese panini, which when it came out was nothing special. Overall staff in the cafe weren’t very helpful.
