What a find! We were stopping in Dumbarton for the night on our return from holiday, but didn't want to resort to a chain restaurant for food. So did a bit of research and found The Big Taquero... It was excellent. Food was absolutely delicious and served really efficiently, good atmosphere too with a range of people and ages enjoying themselves. A brilliant example of a small independent business providing great service and food. Can't recommend more highly.

Our first time here, and we were a bit unsure as we made our way up to the spot. Absolutely worth it though, amazing food and good vibes. Recommend the baja black cod tacos!

The best Mexican food I've tasted. Great portions at great prices. Lovely staff & quick service. Outdoor covered seating, dog friendly, great tunes, & takeaway available too.

Absolutely incredible food, I can't even explain how good EVERYTHING tastes. It's always been busy when I've visited but the service is still super quick and friendly, and the tunes set the mood perfectly. 100000% recommend

🌮Had dinner at The Big Taquero and it was a hidden gem (literally). Tucked away behind the warehouses, this place delivers big flavour in an unexpected spot. The tacos were top-notch, juicy meat, fresh toppings and unreal flavours. Plenty of undercover seating made it a perfect spot for dinner, even if the weather turned. Great food, quick service, and a proper local vibe. Highly recommend best food in town.

First time trying and won't be the last! Was outstanding definitely be back. Portion sizes are big couldn't finish the tacos, took them home and reheated and were absolutely outstanding

Oh. My. Lordie. Everything about this place, from the location to the staff to the FOOD is so fabulous! I HAD to try the famous birria tacos, which were delicious! The star of the show for me however, definitely the taquitos - ridiculously good! 10000% will be back to try everything else on the menu! 🙏
