BLOOMS Restaurant & Tearoom

We had afternoon tea here for our friend’s 40th and it was wonderful. We had a table inside the bus which was charming and charismatic. We all had the afternoon tea and this was adapted to suit friends with vegetarian and gluten free preferences. It’s extremely good value for money and the service was wonderful. We recommend and we want to come back for the breakfast tea which sounded lovely!

I've never spent so ling gawping at everyone else's food as I did here. All the dishes coming out looked amazing. I had soup which was tasty and filling, hubby had club sandwhich. It was a bit of a wait for the food but we think that was because the chicken breast in the club sandwhich was cooked from scratch. So be patient, expect a bit of a wait but you will be rewarded with lovely food.

5 of us went to Blooms for a brunch, very impressive. I can highly recommend the Bischoff pancakes. 3 of our party had the ‘Morning Tea’ I would recommend that you order it as it seemed to be on limited supply. Plenty of parking on site.

We went to Blooms to try out their new Twilight evening set menu and were so happy with the whole experience. The food was absolutely incredible – full of flavour and beautifully presented – we honestly couldn’t fault a single thing. We also tried some of the cocktails, which were just as amazing as the food. The whole atmosphere was really calm and welcoming, making it the perfect evening out. Can’t wait to come back again!

Went for a breakfast for 7 of us and had a lovely time. The food was very tasty and came out pretty quickly despite it being very busy! Staff were all very friendly and happy to help anytime we needed anything and the place itself is really well decorated/themed and is a pleasant place to sit and chat with a coffee. Great Tearoom and well worth a visit for sure.

Such a lovely café. The interior design is absolutely gorgeous. Spring reminding flowers everywhere gave the atmosphere a fresh and blissful feel. I only took a coffee to go, but if I get a chance I will definitely get food as well next time.

We ate at Blooms yesterday and had a fantastic experience. The service was absolutely exceptional, especially from Sam and the other members of staff. We were a large party, but that was no problem at all – everything was handled smoothly and with a smile. What really stood out was how Sam went above and beyond for my child, who has an eating disorder. Instead of dismissing it as fussiness, Sam truly understood and accommodated their needs with care and empathy. That made the whole experience so much more comfortable and enjoyable for us. The food, as always, was excellent, and the thoughtful service made it all the more memorable. Thank you to Sam and the team for making our visit so special!

Booked back in October for the festive lunch with a group of friends. Drinks on arrival didn’t turn up to the table for a good 45 minutes after then only 2 came, eventually the others came with the hot drinks, followed by the children’s food. The restaurant was relatively busy upon arrival and the staff were busy, and table not ready. The food came out, it looked lovely but in all honesty for £27 it wasn’t that nice, we had 3 sandwich fingers with festive fillings, 2 scones one plain, one cranberry and a selection of mini cakes that all tasted of mince pies (they did look good though) The restaurant it self was beautifully decorated with a lovely atmosphere and was warm (a little too warm for me but the staff did open the door for us, which was nice.) I’m not sure I’d return as although the atmosphere and staff were lovely, I had to get up to ask for drinks, spoons for deserts and even get my own menu and the wait was long as the restaurant went quiet before our food came out which was all cold anyway, so not sure on why the wait. Although I appreciate the response from the manager I’m still entitled to an opinion of my experience of my time at Blooms and yes I was part of a group and a response may have been given to them I thought my response was unjustified as I’m still a paying customer.
