OK I've 5 starred the food but only had nuts but the rest of the review is accurate. Firstly the pub itself looks incredible, then the range of drinks that I like was immense, then we enjoyed the beer garden. Put it all together, it's a winner. Oh and the nuts? Delicious!

Great traditional pub grub. Good size portions and reasonably priced. Only disappointment was no beef & onion suet pudding left which 3 of us wanted lol but the beef & ale pie was delicious and huge! Ice cream was a bit powdery tasting so I wouldn’t go for that again. Great atmosphere and really friendly staff and customers, dogs welcome too so that was a bonus. Will be going back.

Excellent 'proper' pub with excellent home cooked food. Generous portions and fabulous service as well. Landlord a gent, we were a large table booked for my dad's birthday and the place and people were just perfect. We had a range of dishes...all excellent. Hope to head back for an evening visit and work through the excellent selection of ales.

Had lunch on Tuesday. We had the mint lamb shank and steak and ale pie. Both were superb, the steak pie was not only huge but the meat was so tender and very tasty. The young lady who served us was also excellent and very helpful as my wife has a nut allergy. Very good experience all round.

A lovely real community pub in what can be a tourist place. Freshly cooked food and good Fullers beers.

We popped I for a light lunch. Our baguettes we nicely prepared and tasty. Good choice of 5 real ales, 4 from Asahi/Fullers and a Taylor Landlord. Public car park (pay) next door.

We went on a boat trip around Chichester Harbour, it was a 1 hr. trip aboard a solar powered craft. A very enjoyable trip with friendly crew and lots to do. We returned for a meal around 1.30pm in the Coal Exchange Restaurant in South St Emsworth, Wonderful helpful staff, and great atmosphere. We will be returning again soon for more of the great food and service. Thank you very much. David.
