Amazing Visited this restaurant as part of a holiday in Scotland. The waitress was really warm and welcoming and explained the menu well. We went for a few different options and it was all delicious. My fave was the pulled pork taco My husbands fave was the smoked salmon. We will be back next time we're in Scotland.

This place was so lovely! We came in as a group of 8 with no reservation (Group of friends just trying to find someplace to eat after a rainy visit to the Kelpies nearby) and we were fine with splitting into two groups of 4 to eat, but they surprised us and managed to get us a table for all 8 of us within 15 minutes of us showing up. The place is small, so we definitely weren't expecting that! The food was absolutely delicious, I got Haggis Bonbons, Pulled pork mac and cheese, and the brownie for desert. It was probably the best Mac and Cheese I've ever had. Incredibly well priced as well, it came out to about £25 per person with their combo deal and nearly everyone ordering an alcoholic beverage. The staff was incredibly friendly and did a great job of making sure our whole party had a good experience. Their menu also did a wonderful job of labeling dairy free, gluten free and vegan dishes. All in all I can completely understand why this place is award winning!

We came in pretty late expecting the kitchen to close soon and yet they were friendly, welcoming and served the food fast at an incredible standard. We got a variety of small plates and were blown away at how delicious and authentic the Scottish themed small plates were. On top of that we got cocktails and the bill was very reasonable. Would highly recommend. The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful to the two of us who were from out of town.

All the tapas dishes we tried were lovely. The Mac & cheese in particular was absolutely divine! Service could have been a bit better however. We ordered 3 roasts and they forgot to add Clapshot in all of them. We had to ask for it twice and it came when we had almost finished our meal. That was a disappointing end to an otherwise delicious meal.

Delicious food, great service, friendly staff, and reasonably priced. The works Christmas lunch is a tough decision to make every year until we cound Christie's! Scottish tapas, there is something for everyone. We queued early as we were eager for some lunch, as the weather started to drop some water on us the staff were kind enough to open the door 5 mins early even though they were still busy setting up. The drinks order was promptly taken and with 5 mins we were wishing everyone all the best and sipping our drinks. The menu is simple to read with the right amount of information on it and with the staff having tablets to take the order this provides a fast and efficient service. The food came steaming hot and in an abundance as ordering at least 3 plates for lunch is enough to take away the hunger. I would recommend a visit to sample some lovely food but be warned, 1 visit isn't enough to sample the menu.

It's always very busy, but we took a chance and managed to get a table! The staff were really welcoming and very nice, even though it was a boiling hot day and they must have been melting, they were so nice, down to earth and professional. The food....the food was fantastic! Thee best haggis and whisky sauce, over real hand cut chips btw, was the best I've ever had. The mac and cheese was great, Scottish cheese, of course. But it was the Scottish doner kebab that was the star of the show! A surprise for me as I adored pork and the pulled pork one was amazing, but the doner one was spectacular. If you go Monday to Thursday, they do 3 dishes for £12, we were there on a Saturday afternoon and its individual dish prices. About £38.00 including drinks for all in the photos. I regret nothing 😍♥️😍

A great place for Tapas. This was my first experience of Tapas for about 15 years. We booked the table and had to change the time which the restaurant accommodated for us without any fuss. We arrived on time and were given the menus for Drinks and Food. The food was very varied and it was difficult to choose what to eat. Which is always a good sign. We managed to narrow it down. I would recommend 3 dishes. They are very reasonably priced and very reasonable in size. Absolutely delicious, every single one of them. A thoroughly enjoyable experience from start to finish. I literally can not fault any part of the service or food. There is parking in the local areas too. Thank you for the Christies experience. 💫

The food and service was good at this restaurant. However, the mocha was quite a let down. Their menu implied that their coffee selection would be extraordinary. But the mocha that I received had a lot of hot chocolate powder at the bottom of the cup. It was evident that the powder had been dumped in after the coffee was made and there was no attempt to mix it together. Other than this mishap at the beginning of the meal, the food was delicious and the chicken wings were the highlight of our meal.
