We went in to order instead of calling a takeaway. There was a few people wait on orders which pleaded me as I took it as a sign of being good. There was also lots of takeaways being prepared. Despite that we were served quickly. I ordered chicken and was immediately asked if I was happy to wait on it cooking. I appreciated that as it dry me expectations.food was amazing . Very well priced

Don’t ever leave bad reviews but after calling to warn them that I was given wrong things on my pizza as I have allergies he was not very helpful unfortunately was told to take back for them too see but I live 30 mins away from chip shop so that wasn’t happening so got a pizza was to be chicken peppers anchovies amd murshroom as soon as home I was starving took one bite could smell fish and was very fishy and salted taste was worst thing ever I wasn’t fussed about a refund I just wanted to warn them that there is either something off or there has been fish put on pizza what ever it was was brown and gritty and very salty was worst taste ever but I was basicly told I had what I asked for and also had anchovies when I didn’t guy was rude for a manager after warning them. So won’t be back hope I don’t fall really ill with my food allergies :(

Nice clean chippy and staff are all very friendly. Unfortunately pakora tasted awful (oil needed changed). Suppers were better tasting but very greasy. Wish I'd ordered pizza which were all fresh made and looked amazing.

Went today the kids 1/2 pizza was delicious will definitely eat from there again when I get the chance,thanks to the amazing kind staff my mom also got food don't remember what she ordered

A decent fish and chips served with a friendly smile in cardboard boxes wrapped in a nice quality bag. Batter thin and tasty, fish typical of the Scottish Borders thinnish haddock but well cooked and moist.

Not a regular but have visited a few times. Visited tonight, about 7pm, so not just before closing time, or last option in the shop. Fish & chips, chips were pretty unappetising, fish dry and hard. Will not return. Hope this is helpful.

Bought food straight from shop, drove no more than 7 minutes away to have dinner with family. Fish was soggy trash, chips cold as Scotland winter, and Mac and cheese would of been better from Tesco value tin. Only saving grace was the king rib, and half ok fried pizza.

Fantastic fish and chips we go out our way to go and get our takeaway when in the borders. Keep up the good work
