Went for a family reunion meal with my sister & Mam. Was pretty busy for a Wednesday evening. Service is relaxed Italian style, be prepared to wait for delicious food. I had the seafood linguine with a mixed salad, all the other meals were well presented & delicious. We had 2 rounds of drinks, some starters & desserts. Including service charge we paid about £40 pp, which I thought was excellent value. Recommend booking especially for a weekend.

I have been wanting to try this place for ages, the service was brilliant and the food was amazing. The atmosphere was also very good, nice and lively. We got a booth which was very nice. The only reason it’s not full stars all round was I got the Mamas lasagna and I was a bit disappointed that there wasn’t a béchamel sauce in it. But maybe that’s the way it’s meant to be made….I'm not sure. But usually all lasagna I’ve ever had is made with a béchamel. Apart from that it was all amazing! The lasagna kept me full all day it was so filling and satisfying. Also we forgot one of our shopping bags and the waitress came and found us on the street with the bag. Very kind and good service all day. Would definitely recommend this place.

Friendly, warm welcome. Bit noisy. Lovely food choices. Food was delicious - maybe lacked a little 'something' flavour wise. Bit disappointed with garlic bread - which indeed was bread rather than pizza base - maybe I ordered incorrectly. Service charge added to your bill - missed that on the menu - I'd rather choose without obligation. Overall - definitely worth another visit.

Nice restaurant, service was professional and courteous. Open plan kitchen/dining where you can watch the Chefs at work and contrary to popular belief no shouting and expletives. My meal, Ravioli, tasted delicious, however, I know the pasta is supposed to be served Al dente, but mine was a bit too hard where that I had to really cut into it. The price was reasonable, the place was quiet, albeing it was a Sunday I did like it.

Very nice place, great pizza, especially the dough 😋 lasagne ok, the 🦞 could be a bit better. Quite long wait but I guess that's normal as the food made fresh.

The table staff are well trained, clearly take pride in their jobs, and evidently appreciate you are there to treat yourself. The decor is lovely and well kept. The food coming from the open kitchen is divine. Love Paulo's ❤️

I used to come here often and always had a great experience, so I recommended it to my guests. Unfortunately, their portion of spinach ravioli was surprisingly small for the price, and they added an almost 20% service charge, which felt unusual for the borders. It seems they either treat tourists differently from locals or the quality has taken a turn for the worse recently.

Great pizzas and I particularly like their mixed salads. We were taken to a table right under a loudspeaker, so we asked if we could move because it would have made conversation difficult. They couldn’t do that, but did turn down the music so we could hear better. So big plus for that.
