Didn't stay here, but had a lovely meal in the pub! Staff were very friendly and helpful! The young man found us a table even though it was very busy!! The meal was absolutely delicious! Had the beef and Guinness pie with vegetables and chips!! Highly recommend

We went for the first time at 7:45 PM and the kitchen was closed. The Closing time was at 8 PM, the waitress said to go to paolo's in front. It was a good option. The next time and last time we went at 6:50 and they couldnt serve us because we didnt make a reservation.. Why not tell us that or make a warning that you have to make a reservation on the first time. The place was not full, there was no line and the tables outside were empty too.. No other option was given.. Like take away. Maybe good for locals but not for visitors. The days were 22th and 23th August.

What can I say apart from outstanding food everything was cooked perfectly and the portion sizes holy hell there massive just popped in after being out on the bike thinking it was just gonna be standard pub food. I was shockingly mistaken in a good way

Been to this restaurant once and the food was quite nice. However the staff were blunt, we only asked a simply question asking what the soup of the day was and the waitress was quite rude to us. Gave it the benefit of the doubt and decided to boom again however all 3 times I have now attempted to book even days before you can’t get in. There’s other places in town I’ll take my money and have a nicer experience 👍

Put in anti room then asked to be moved to bar area for some ambience. Tables within inches of each other. Bar area too small and very crowded. . Food was ok. Fish batter was very greasy. Actual piece of fish was good. Very expensive for pub grub. Would not go back.

Fantastic food and good portions. Always busy, which in my opinion is a good thing and it doesn't seem to slow down service. Decent selection of drinks too. Also dog friendly
