Such a relaxed and friendly place to eat and drink. Really good food made with effort and fresh and delicious ingredients and a bar with a full range of beverages. Special offer evenings like curries and pies. I love the prawn sandwiches. Amazing soft bread, prawns with flavour and a salad you can actually consume and not just a decoration. A unique decor with motorbikes on display. Onsite parking front and back. Staff are really attentive and know what they’re doing. Nice to just grab a decent coffee or take lunch or dinner. We’ve been several times with family and my kids love it there. Burgers are delicious and fresh quality!

Excellent place. Food is top rate and delicious with fast service by staff who are the best, friendly and efficient, and the display of motor bikes is unique as is the tree growing out through the roof and the lovely gardens with the sound of water from the fish ponds. However, this is NOT the Old Brewery but an additional construction built much later; next door to the Wyke Brewery Milford Court in Wyke Riad The old Brewery was built by the Matthews Family in 1830s and in early photos the (Motor Bike) Café was only fields. The Talisman unit in living memory, then became a café with ensuing names, See Mirus in following photos. However last year it grew into the excellent restaurant it is today but it must change back to that which made it unique. It is NOT THE OLD BREWERY CAFE AND RESTAURANT. Call it what it was, the Motor Bikes. JUST MOTOR BIKES. Someone only called it that yesterday. In the first older photo, from the early beer advert in its oval border, to the right (east) of the Brewery, it can be seen that there are fields and cottage set further back and this is the the area where the café structure is today.

Seemed a good place to go being a biker and all that so decided to make the trip to here. We arrived and parked our bikes out the front. On entering the building it looked very nice indeed, clean and with plenty of space. We ordered some tea to for drinks and 3 burgers. The tea unlike in a lot of other places was actually hot for once which is just the way I like it and it tasted great. The service was very good and the atmosphere was nice with lots of display motorcycles of all types to look at. On the negative side of things I found the price of the drinks and food to be blinking expensive for what you actually get, doesn't encourage one to go back again to be honest. Also there are only two single toilets and I had to queue for around 10 minuties before I could relieve myself, really frustrating. Also on the way out we suddenly realized a bunch of other inconsiderate bikers had actually blocked us in and made it almost impossible to get out so thanks for that! Again mainly for the eye watering price of the tea and food and having to queue for the toilet for ages we are unlikely to return sorry!

Disappointing experience here this morning. 3 of us came in for breakfast about 11am, was seated and had our order taken. We then received our food without cutlery or drinks. Eventually received our drinks then cutlery but no sugars or spoon for my tea. Lots of dirty tables waiting to be cleared. Such a shame as the food was nice & well presented. Staff just need properly training to do their jobs

Went here on the off chance of a decant coffee and a bite to eat. We weren't disappointed. Fast friendly service from the staff. Spacious clean environment with some awesome vintage bikes to browse over. Would highly recommend this place. And we'll definitely be making a return trip.

Just happened to come across this cafe during a 4 day motorbike tour. Lucky find. It is fantastic and has a small collection of bikes inside which are very interesting (if that’s your thing). Biker or not, the atmosphere is excellent. The food was very good and reasonable priced.

Fantastic. And that's without considering the beautiful motorcycles dotted about the place. But don't be confused, this is no biker's cafe, it's a very spacious, quality cafe/bar that serves great food and very nice coffee. Club sandwich to die for?
