New Shimla

Absolutely fantastic food and service. Amazed at how good the house red was. Some of the best Indian food we have ever had. Large portions as well. Quaint location and very clean.

The food was amazing. The service was excellent. We personally could not fault it. We were there for the 1st time for my birthday, then returned the following week as we enjoyed it so much. The owner and his nephew were great sources of information regarding the food choices. I would recommend this place to everyone

Best curry in the Glenrothes/Leslie area- extremely generous portions and very prompt delivery. Delicious, clearly made fresh to order. You’re doing yourself a disservice if you don’t order from here

Virtualy empty at 8pm on a Friday evening. Lovely inside but felt cold and no atmosphere. Maybe some gentle background music would help. Service was very pleasant. The Onion Bhaji was nothing like what I am used to and had much better Momo elsewhere. Main meals were ok although lacking in authentic Nepalese spice and flavour. Cobra at £6.50 a pint is excessive. Doubt if we will return unless there is a vast improvement.

I had heard a lot of nice things before going and was not disappointed. Lovely staff, excellent decor and the food was incredible! We will be back!

Just got back with takeaway onion bahji and chicken tikka garlic chilli. Starter was not like I have ever seen before and tasted like cardboard. Main tasted like store bought sauce with processed chilli and garlic in vinegar. Avoid

This was one of the best meals I've had since moving to Fife. The New Shimla has amazing food and absolutely lovely staff. We love Nepalese food and the Momos here were soo good! Our 7 month old also approves! We can't wait to try the other dishes on the menu. We will quickly become regulars!
