A symphony of flavours. By far one of the most delicious Indian restaurants I have been to. It takes a lot of confidence to have a short menu. I struggled to make my mind up. We had 5 different dishes on the table all of them were incredible. All had a nice twist to them. Prices were on the higher side but absolutely worth it. Service was welcoming and efficient but not in your face. You will not regret coming here. We will be back very soon.

We had a wonderful, delicious meal for our anniversary. The staff made us feel so special and were very attentive even recommending dishes for us to have. The special cocktails were beautiful and great fun. Special mention to the scallop starter which was so tasty. We will absolutely be going back and would definitely recommend.

If you’re craving a rich, flavorful Indian dining experience, Dilli Restaurant should be at the top of your list. This fine dining spot impresses with its bold, authentic flavours and beautifully presented dishes that showcase the best of Indian cuisine. Yes, it’s on the pricier side, but for the quality of food, it’s absolutely worth it. Highly recommended for a special evening out or for anyone who appreciates Indian cuisine done right.

Very attentive staff! Delicious food - definitely several steps up from your typical Indian restaurant! But despite this, expect to pay less than £50 a head for a couple of beers, a main, rice/naan and a side! Great value for such amazing food!

Awesome restaurant! Service was incredible, friendly, attentive and professional. Food was incredible, my wife had chicken dumplings and the Goan prawn curry and adored both! I had the vegetable samosa which looked and tasted incredible followed by the Muttar Paneer and Chang Chole (side sizes) - don’t think as the veg dishes can also be sides that they are any lesser than the meat/fish mains, they tasted Devine!! All in all a 10/10 experience.

We went to The Dilli Restaurant in Haslemere last Friday for an early supper. In fact, we were the first couple in the restaurant as we arrived with the serving staff! Despite being early, we were shown to our seat - the chairs are very comfortable indeed and the ambience is very calming - a classy feel in a beautiful old building. The staff were attentive and the cocktail produced was wonderfully presented, courtesy of a 'bubble gun'. The starters arrived and looked very appetising on the plate; one was the scallops and the other was the dumplings. The scallops were 'OK' but would have been better if they were 'proper' scallops rather than Queen Scallops which are smaller and were a tad rubbery. The mains were again, attractive although oddly, my fish came in a bowl, making it impractical to eat along with the rice and mixed vegetable sides. Strangely, I was provided with a large flat plate (see picture) but the fish was in the bowl. I managed to manoeuvre the fish onto the plate but of course, it broke in half. The flavours however, were excellent. Along with this dish, my friend ordered a prawn curry which was "good" but not outstanding. I would summarise by saying that this is an expensive Indian restaurant that almost hits the mark but some attention to small details would elevate it to a better rating. It would feel mean to give a '3 Star' rating but it is probably more 3.5 than a 4. Since I cannot give a 3.5, I gave the benefit of the doubt and scored a 4.. mostly because the service was impeccable. Thanks all - see you again sometime.

It was a vibrant, noisy Friday evening in September 2024. We booked a birthday celebration for four of us. The waiter was very polite but spoke quietly. Everything was just about right. Poppadoms for four with tiny amounts of 'dips' £12. We skipped starters. Main meals were good tasty portions but only 1 lamb dish which was a HOT one! The remainder were chicken with a fish or prawn dishes. Drinks were expensive; 330l cobra bottle was over £5, that's about £7.50 a pint and it wasn't even draught!! We couldn't manage a dessert but enjoyed ourselves and we were treated to a mini birthday cake with a flare to complete the birthday evening. Cost, with tip, £40 per head. Most of us had two drinks each. I'd go back.
