Pizza Express

Food is really good. Emily who served is absolutely pretty and well served. No doubt she is an asset. They accept the taste card as well. Thanks for the great experience as always. Will come again soon

We had a family meet-up with eight people. The food and service were amazing. Lara, the waitress, was very pleasant and extremely helpful. The manager, Connor, went above and beyond to help us get savings through the app at the end of our meal. The food was absolutely amazing , Thank you so much!

—- UPDATE: spoke to the store who gave us fresh pizzas (plus a couple of starters/drinks) to make up for the shortfall. They were very nice people too! Editing and increasing review to reflect. Unbelievably shoddy pizzas and not at all up to the Pizza Express standard when we ordered tonight via Deliveroo. Website said click and Collect wasn’t available, otherwise we’d have happily collected in person. When receiving the order we were met with cold food (bear in mind the restaurant is <2 mins drive from our house) with honestly 10% of the toppings you’d expect in house. Pics attached of the sloppy guiseppe and padana received.

An underwhelming evening. We headed in for a mid-week dinner, there was nothing special about either the atmosphere or the service. A mistake was made with my main course - with an offer to either replace with the correct dish, or have the alternative at no cost. These things happen and the handling was fine. However, the food overall was below expectations. Not outright bad, just not particularly nice.

We had a lovely family supper at Pizza Express. The pizzas were delicious and the staff were warm and welcoming!

Waitresses are friendly and competent, however I question the management. We went for dinner at 6:30...upon ordering were told that they had sold out of lasagne. They only have 3 or 4 main dishes on offer so I was pretty shocked. £7 for a tiny can of lager is also a complete rip off. Expensive desserts too. Deluveroo drivers wandering in and out ruin the ambience. Slow service and charred pasta is simply not good enough for the prices.

Deliveroo/Just Eat really destroyed the restaurant experience. We went in and there was a reasonable number of people, so we expected some wait, but in the end it took ages. Staff were run off their feet packing orders for takeaway and tables were left uncleared for 30 minutes. We have a toddler, so it's important that we know how long we're going to be kept waiting. It's a shame because the food was great, the staff was lovely, and there was a pleasant Sunday evening buzz. I'd suggest either getting a second kitchen for takeaways, deprioritising takeaway orders in favour of the sit-in customers, or at least making the number of takeaways order in the queue clear, so we can make an informed decision about whether to eat here.

I love pizza express and always rave about how much I love it . I came here so excited after not having it for a while and the manager was beyond rude to me and my partner. Really has put me off the restaurant. Do not go to the Haslemere chain
