Mi Tierra Grill & Cocktail Bar

Visited Mi Tierra for lunch twice in 48 hours with different family members! On both days, we ordered a delicious selection of tapas for lunch and I enjoyed some beautiful, refreshing cocktails! There’s a really lovely relaxed atmosphere in the restaurant where you don’t feel rushed to move on. The staff were attentive and couldn’t be more helpful - I appreciated recommendations as it was hard to know what to order! The chicken croquettes were out of this world - stuffed full with chicken. The flautas were unbelievable and I adored the beef tacos. Also visited for a couple of drinks one sunny afternoon and enjoyed some mocktails in the outdoor seating area along with some potatas bravas, empanadas and chorizo. I would definitely recommend coming here and I can’t wait to come back again soon!

Underwhelmed. Came here with my husband for a meal after reading the excellent online reviews I was very excited to see gambas pil pil on the menu I as it is one of my favourite dishes. We ordered starters and mains then waited a very long time for our food. After 45 minutes I asked the waitress for an update on how long our starters would be. The young waitress was very nice but was possibly having to deal with too many tables on her own. Gambas Pil Pil - this was not gambas Pil pil. What I received was very good quality prawns but unfortunately no chilli which is one of the main ingredient of gambas pil pil. Instead of chilli I had lots of chopped red peppers therefore the 'chilli' oil was pretty tasteless and therefore my starter was a complete disappointment. I mentioned it to the waitress who checked with the kitchen and reported back that this is their take in the dish. I would recommend changing the description on the menu if this is the case as their menu states chilli Empanadas - my husband ordered empanadas to start. These tasted deep fried. The pastry was pretty hard and crunchy. His personal preference is baked empanadas but maybe others like them like this. The filling was just ok. Nothing special. Again could be personal taste Steak and chips - this was the star of the show! The sirloin was amazing! Very tasty and cooked to perfection. I wasn't given a steak knife but didn't need one as the meat was so tender. I didn't like the peppercorn sauce. Too many peppercorns and not saucy enough. Again could be personal preference Chicken fajitas - husband ordered chicken fajitas for his main. Another huge disappointment. No sizzling plate. Basically chicken, onions and peppers in a fajita flavoured sauce. Not what he was expecting and taste wise didn't have a lot of flavour. Also no guacamole with the fajitas Overall this restaurant was a huge disappointment to us personally. Such a shame as it has a nice atmosphere but unfortunately the food is overpriced and not up to standard. The steak is excluded from this comment as it was genuinely excellent and well priced but the other 3 dishes we felt were overpriced and just okay.

ive been in afew times and the staff were fantastic everytime! Freya and Eden were very attentive on the bar, Ellie and Chris made sure to check up on us frequently, all in all the place was fantastic. the food was incredible very timely due to the service of Abby and Kitty, I had the salmon main and brisket starters which were cooked down to a T!! the restaurant itself has a very lovely vibe to it and the chefs were also very polite, highly recommended if you're out and about in Helensburgh

First time here at Mi Tierra grill. Lovely food and very good service would highly recommend. Hopefully will be back next time we are in the area.

Surf and turf here is the BOMB, we had a ribeye steak and chicken fajitas… absolutely incredible!! Staff were friendly and really attentive. I highly recommend the food and if you’ve room the tres leches as a treat after 😛.

Booked this last minute last night and I’m so glad we did we ordered steaks and they were cooked to perfection well worth the visit. Thank you to the attentive staff whom were lovely.

We had not booked and were seated very quickly. It was very busy and the staff were working very hard to keep everyone happy. The food was lovely and the drinks were amazing

Had an amazing dinner at Mi Tierra Grill and Bar during their anniversary night, and it was such a great experience! The tacos were absolutely delicious – packed with flavor and clearly made with care. I also appreciated the option of alcohol-free beer, which paired perfectly with the meal. The atmosphere was electric, thanks to the lively mariachi band that brought so much energy. Everyone was up dancing and having a great time – it really felt like a celebration! A big shoutout to Manager Chris and Owner Adolfo, who went out of their way to make everyone feel welcome. Their hospitality and warm presence added a personal touch that made the night even more special. Definitely a spot worth visiting – can’t wait to come back!
