Chiquito

Great atmosphere this evening for dinner with the four of us. Love the kids options for small and large, as our youngest isn't a big eater at the moment. Our two adult mains hit the spot, enchilada and prawn fajitas. The downside tonight was the vanilla milkshake which seemed more just milk and ice (and quickly became watery milk) and the churros not quite cooked to the middle. This, however did not ruin the evening and our host Jodie was very lovely, great with the kids and her competence showed with how quick everything was.

Visited here on recommendation of a colleague. Two veggies and a meat eater were in my party and there was enough on the menu to satisfy our varied tastes. Even those not liking Mexican food can eat burgers or steak. We started with a big plate of shared veggie nachos before moving onto to the main course. Server's were polite, knowledgeable and food was served promptly. Restaurant was clean and music wasn't too loud. Car parking free. All for £20 per head including drinks. Would go there again.

Chiquito offers wide variety of vegetarian and vegan options, we found restaurant to be elegantly decorated with bright and vibrant colours, wall paintings, colourful glass partitions making up adorable ambience, the lovely mexican music makes cheers up ur mood. In our first visit the staff present was not that polite which seems to have been replaced by better staff interacting in a polite and helpful way with guests. There are many vegan and vegetarian dishes and every bit of the food is delicious, right quantity of spices and perfection in cooking leaves you satisfied. The only negative thing I noticed was cobweb hanging over our table 😉, hopefully it was cleaned afterwards.

Had a lovely meal here, chicken was cooked very well, nice and succulent. Nice, friendly waitresses.

We can recommend the sharing starter's, a great way to try a few different dishes. I wish I hadn't ordered the burger, a bit bland. Service was good.

We went on Saturday night and the place was packed. Definitely paid to reserve a table online before going. The waitress was really friendly and nice, and the food arrived really fast. It was tasty and filling, good value for money. The deserts were also great. We will definitely go again, the menu looked interesting to explore!

Staff were lovely - the waitress knew I was vegan and checked the cocktails to see which ones I could have or how they could alter the recipe so that it would still taste good but be dairy free. Fast service, hot food, and great choice for veggies / vegans. Impressed.

Cocktails are great in here, but it’s a long walk into town so make sure you have a designated driver or a taxi booked. Food is served quickly and is generally tasty, although portions are quite small for how much it costs. You can usually walk in and get a table on the spot, though it can get busy at weekends.
