Without a doubt a hidden gem of a tandoori restaurant and experience, truly amazing and friendly staff. Food quality and restaurant ambience second to none and for the village of Bramford this is such a great place to try out flavours and spices from Bangladesh to your door and within this lovely restaurant. Anyone in the ipswich area would not be disappointed traveling out here to spend time with the good guys at Indian Ocean and to enjoy the perfect dining experience here. Thank you for making us feel so welcome and definitely see you again soon.

These are high scores indeed for a life long Indian restaurant fan as I am a tough one to please. However the food here is incredible as you can really taste the splice blends and therefore able to experience authentic Indian cuisine. Staff are well presented but dropped one star for me as owner was not very smiley although he was very efficient so not a major issue. We have been twice and we were given complimentary popadoms and onion salad both times. Portion sizes are generous. This is our new preferred Indian restaurant!

This is the second occasion I have ordered a takeaway from here, whilst the food is normally fantastic your lucky if you get to taste it as the estimated delivery times are mere fantasy, ordered at 18.11 for delivery at 19:20, it's now 20:40 and despite numerous calls food is nowhere to be seen. Don't accept orders you cannot service, no apologies or suggested remedies. Don't take orders you cannot service, I recommend a big swerve if ordering a delivery !! Very disappointing 😢

Had a takeaway from here tonight. I have to say it was fantastic. The food was absolutely delicious. It has to be the best Indian I've ever had. The food wasn't greasy at all and was very aromatic. The peshwari nann is lovely and goes so well with the spicy food. Portion sizes are huge so we have leftovers for tomorrow which is great. I would definately recommend.

Wow! We found this gem of a place purely by accident when searching on Google for an Indian style restaurant in this part of rural Suffolk. We parked in the crowded street nearby and walked in to this place which does not look like anything special for the outside. But, on entering this place we realized that we had found somewhere special. The two gentlemen who greeted us were fantastic. They remained friendly, polite and patient throughout our visit. Having settled in to a corner seat by the window our culinary journey started. We began by ordering a round of drinks including the excellent Cobra draft beer, served nicely chilled, and a plate of popadums with pickles. A great start. Three of us then ordered onion bhajis as a starter. Our waiter kindly suggested that as these are so big, it would be better to order two servings for the three of us. Great advice. We couldn't finish them as they were so big. For our main courses, we ordered the mild chicken tikka masala and I fancied something hotter, like a vindaloo. On advice, however, I tried a chicken Sylheti-Jalfry which was excellent. Very hot and spicy but with pepper, onion, fresh herbs and a touch of Sylheti chili pickle. Phew! All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our special find in this place. And to think that this gem of a place was hidden in such a quiet, sleep rural Suffolk village!

Right in the heart of Bramford village, just outside Ipswich. A pleasant restaurant and takeaway with a cosy atmosphere and friendly staff. Food was tasty and portions quite adequate.

We went on a Sunday night it wasn't busy at all this I prefer All the food was great and good portion sizes Staff were really friendly. With drinks and way to much food for 4 adults we paid just over £100. We have also had a few takeaways from here to and couldn't fault them I will definitely be returning ☺️
