Stopped off here for food and drinks. It was busy but there was a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. It was easy to talk and enjoy the pub. The beer was great and refreshing. My fish and chips was very filling and tasty with a great portion size. Would recommend and return.

Can’t fault the food. We were almost deterred by the prices, but having eaten, the prices are fair. The menu features an eclectic range of interesting dishes, I recommend two light bites over a main. We dined as a group of 7 and our table was a feast for the eyes, so many delicious meals. I highly recommend visiting.

Couldn't get in to the dog and gunn next door. Popped in here and pleasantly surprised. We stopped for a drink in here and was good. Opted for some home made pork scratchings with apple sauce. Very tasty light and airy. Very very good.

Beautiful food. This was the BEST food I had whilst I was in the Lake District and I would definitely recommend!!! It’s priced a little higher than the other pubs in the area but you certainly see this reflected in the high quality! Atmosphere was very nice and the beer garden looked lovely. Might be tricky to get a seat as it’s not very big.

The Lake Road Inn is a bit noisy, even on a Sunday evening, but it's still a very friendly pub. The food was a mix of fantastic (the beef burgers) to somewhat disappointing (the over- cooked chips), but all in all a great experience!

We had the fish and chips and they were gorgeous, real homemade chips too! The service was excellent, very attentive. A good selection of beers and wine. It was lovely sitting outside at the front of the pub, but the beer garden and the inside of the pub also looked lovely. About 8/8:30 there was live music which was also a lovely touch. A great pub!!

Food wasn’t great. Drinks were fine and it was nice to sit outside. Partner ended up with raw chicken. I let them know but the manager refused to accept it.
