We stopped by Lakeside Café after a boat trip on Derwentwater, and it was the perfect place to warm up and recharge. The hot chocolates were absolutely delicious – rich, creamy, and topped with a generous swirl of whipped cream and cocoa. The café has a lovely, airy atmosphere with big windows overlooking the greenery – ideal for relaxing after a day out on the water. Friendly staff and a great selection of drinks and cakes. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the lake – especially if you’re in need of a cosy treat!

A good place if u are in lake Keswick … good snacks and meal options …. Only issue was service and attitude at the til … it wasn’t professional all

Sat outside on a busy day for 2 coffees and a scone! Both were lovely, wait for coffees was a little bit but we didn’t mind.

Great location, great service, nice food.

We went to this cafe before the theatre show. The sausage roll was very good even though it was 7.50 . The girl who was serving she was the only one behind the counter, serving the food the cafe was very busy queues to the door. The girl clearly didn’t want to be there miserable was an understatement. No interaction or a smile. Very disappointed.

Plenty of parking as we arrived. And quite evident that it's a popular place. The café was easy to find and quite self explanatory when you get in there. Again, a very popular spot. We felt quite lucky to get a table. The menu was nicely surprising and definitely didn't disappoint when the food arrived! Food was quite reasonably priced. The service was friendly and employees were nice. Toilets on site also. A stone's throw from the lakes edge where the views are quite spectacular! Would definitely come back again.
