Out on a long journey, I didn't want the usual motorway cafe. So stumbled upon this lovely local cafe with charm, history, plenty of parking, and good food. The food was hot and a good choice. Parking was next door at the village hall, and there was plenty of it and the cafe allowed dogs, and overall a lovely atmosphere with the locals. Would highly recommend this lovely place.

Popped in on a whim for cake and coffee. Absolutely lovely place, service was quick, efficient and friendly. Love the decor, selection of cakes was very good. Very pleased to see an alternative milk option, coffee was professionally barista made, hot and delicious.

Visited last weekend for breakfast, this weekend for lunch. Very nice cosy atmosphere, it’s lovely that they have a toy basket so our three year old is occupied. Food is great, so is the coffee. The staff are lovely, make you feel like you’re part of the family. Can’t wait to visit again! They have Stokes ketchup too!!!

Just discovered Oak Cafe after a day paddling in the river nearby and it was so lovely! Family vibes, great food, very dog friendly and a cute garden setting. My daughter had the Shakshuka and honestly I had food envy.

Very dog friendly with water and biscuits available as you enter and dogs allowed inside. Breakfast was superb and although a wait for it to be cooked fresh, it was worth the wait. A good buzz and vibe and the lady that served us was adorable.

Fantastic little cafe with great food and friendly staff. The burger I had was absolutely fantastic and the wife’s and kids sandwich’s were also fantastic. A big well done to the chief and all the staff. Will 100 percent be going back.
