Everything about this restaurant is wonderful! Best meal I have had in Scotland in 6 weeks! Took a chance on a late meal here while driving through town. For only £20 I had an entire meal with appetizer! Started with papadom crispy chickpea flour with 4 chutneys. Then delicious Lemon Lamb with sauce & a side of garlic mushroom rice. Everything was cooked to perfection. The rice was perfectly buttery with each kernel separated as it should be. The flavors were so fresh and delicious. The lamb was cooked perfectly and tender. The heated plates were such a nice detail, keeping the food hot for the duration of the meal. The tables were set with white linens and cloth napkins. I noticed they have a full bar too. Everything is so clean and the owner and staff are really nice and welcoming. They served a complementary chocolate mint wafer at the end, which was such a nice touch. So grateful to find this gem. Oh and also the music was wonderful; afrobeats with neo soul. It was a perfect experience. Definitely coming back. Bonus: It was so easy to find both gluten free & vegetarian options.

My first visit here but the food was amazing. The atmosphere and price was very good. I would recommend this establishment to everyone. My only regret is that it was my last night before heading home so it will be a while before I can visit again.

Past 6 weeks food has been shocking, had onion bhajis as part of a platter, couldn’t get our teeth through them! Always takeaway

It had been recommended and according to Google it was open but when I got there it was closed with a note on the door. So can't tell you about the food. Service or atmosphere.

Not happy. Food was luke warm, rice delivered was plan, I ordered pillau. Was late. Phoned to complain. Message said they were closed till April. It's end of June. All for £20

Delicious and hot food delivered very quickly from Lanark to Forth. Had Lamb Vidaloo and Lamb Madras and the lamb was lovely and tender. Maybe a tiny bit on the dear side but you get what you pay for and will definitely order again.

Excellent meal on Thursday night, 10th April 2025 at Jholpai Indian Fusion in Lanark - I had Jalfrezi lamb, my friend chicken Jalfrezi and my other friend Punjabi lamb - accompanied with vegetable and chicken pakoras, nan bread, mushroom pilau rice and washed down with Kingfisher Beers - the lamb was cooked to perfection and melted away in your mouth - and the restaurant has recently been redecorated and refurnished 😀😀😀

The food is consistently very good, but delivery is unreliable, especially at weekends. I would recommend picking up your takeaway rather than getting it delivered. If getting a delivery, do not plan your evening around the delivery time.
