Very popular and the parking was close to full when I arrived. Very pleasant staff who served me quite quickly for my 7.00 pm booking. The food was nice. Panni poori to start which are full of flavour and texture but nothing special to filling . Mains was chicken madras, pulao rice, daal makhni ( black pea) and peshwari naan. All very nice and better than most Indian restaurants but not as authentic as some of the Indian restaurants I have eaten in, good job. I would say the daal was the most flavourful item eaten. A pint of IPA to wash it down all for £42.80.

Great food and great service! I had chicken tikka from the grill with a side of raita and a naan. The chicken was grilled and seasoned perfectly. The food came out very quickly and was hot and fresh. I had a clear view into the kitchen and could see many woks and flames cooking away. Highly recommend trying the chai tea post dinner. Reasonably priced for quality of food. Spent £60 for two including drinks, deserts, pappadums, naan breads and a main dish each. Will be going back!

We were excited to hear that there was an Indian Reataurant opening in the village so we made a booking for Valentines and popped along to see what it was like and we were NOT disappointed. The restaurant itself was very inviting with plenty of space between tables. Service was really good with the food being served quickly. The choice was good and food delicious with big enough portions to keep hubby happy. I've no doubt we will return...especially as its so good....and only a 5min walk away. 😎

Carvery is served 12.00 -16.00 and curry from 16.00. One of our party does not like curry so we arrived at 15.00 and payed for one carvery and plated it up. The staff then reheated the carvery plate and brought it out when they brought the rest of the tables curry, which meant we could all eat together. The staff were so accommodating. The curries were full of flavour and very generous portions. There is a new menu out offering even more variety. Really recomend Goan Prawn Massala and Bombay Potatoes. Slight spice but tasty spice rather than hot spice. One of the party tried the Non veg Thali. Such good value at £22. You get a little bit of a few dishes to try and also included a pudding. Staff are always friendly and happy to help. If we lived closer, we would definitely visit more than the ten or so times a year that we do visit.

I had the korma and my partner had a masala and both were very watery. I tried the vegetable korma option for a change and it tasted and looked like the bags of frozen vegetables with the little carrot cubes, peas and sweetcorn.. In a watery sauce?! By far the worst Indian I have ever had in my life. I’m disappointed to say I’ve genuinely had a nicer curry out of a jar. Garlic naan was good though I must say.

We're really pleased that this excellent Indian restaurant has opened. Not only is it in walking distance of where we live, the food and friendly service were both excellent, the atmosphere is very relaxed. This all resulting in one the best Indian restaurant experiences I've ever had. It doesn't have the same, over extensive menu that some restaurants have, but this means that food all seemed freshly cooked as well as nicely presented. The staff were very friendly and prices not at all excessive, considering the quality of the food. Highly recommended.
