My wife and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary and were made very welcome. Evening meal steak was very tasty, beer and wine excellent and the room we stayed in was warm, clean and contained all we needed. The portable radio as well as the tv was very welcome.

A well run pub with rooms. We were slightly disappointed with our room as it had quiet a precipitous staircase to reach it. We had venue offered a courtyard room as well but didn't realise quite how steep the steps up would be. It was very comfy however. Food was great and service was excellent

We had a slight problem on booking in but it was soon sorted out by Immy who was very busy but very helpful. The staff were all extremely friendly and did anything they could to help, especially James who not only served breakfast but was still working in the bar until it closed. The room was lovely and despite overlooking the main road the double glazing meant we couldn't hear a thing. It was also immaculately clean, with a lovely big bath with shower above. We will definitely be back

We had a very enjoyable one night stay taking advantage of their Sunday Sleepover deal. The room was well appointed and there was plenty of hot water - always important. The King's Arms is a lovely old building right in the heart of Melksham. Parking at the rear was nice bonus. The staff couldn't have been more pleasant and helpful. Food was very good. All in all a great find. We thought it was excellent value for money.

I organised surprise birthday party at the pub. James and Jordan were amazing leading to the event. Very helpful in organising pre- order etc. On the Day Sam and his team looked after us, Sam set up the room to make it look beautiful, the food was fantastic and whole atmosphere great. I would highly recommended this venue for any family events !

Thank you for looking after my son and I so well, following a visit to the races in Bath. We were both hugely disappointed that we had to leave before breakfast (which on our last couple of visits has been outstanding!) but delighted with the superb bacon n’ sausage rolls kindly made up for our early departure. We will return again, as soon as we can!! - Thank you.

The occasion was a birthday meal with my wife and daughter. Although we arrived almost 15 minutes late we were warmly greeted by staff including James, the manager, who had moved from the Methuen Arms, Corsham where we enjoyed a meal in June. The service was very good as was the meal which we all enjoyed. We will return again.
