Chiquito

My partner and I ate here tonight as part of student night, and I cant say id be returning. We ordered two drinks and our food at the same time. Our food came and it was average. I had pulled pork and chicken - the pulled pork was lovely. My boyfriend had steak and chicken, he said his fiesta chicken was really good but the steak was average. By the time our drinks came, we were nearly finished our food. My boyfriend had tap water and I had a berry mocktail which tasted like slightly flavoured water, really not worth the £4. We paid around £40 and that was with the 30% discount. I wasnt expecting top level service with it being a promotion night but I was hoping for better than this.

Painfully slow service even thought the restaurant was empty. Staff stood arround talking. Server refused my 19 year old daughter a glass of wine with her food as she had no ID. Im sure this is not how the law works. Food could have been hotter

Mike is one of the nicest servers that I have personally ever had and not only did he accommodate a mistake in the kitchen where the chips were frozen and ironically the burger was burnt but he went out of the way to make my dad’s birthday a wonderful experience from amazing service to genuinely kind remarks and a happy demeanour . Honestly, he is very much one of the stars of this place and he deserves more credit. Thank you for being an amazing representation of customer service and honestly if you are not a manager, I’m going to be genuinely surprised because you deserve that sort of title. Also the nachos are too tia!!!!!

One of the worst experiences I’ve had in years. Terminally slow service. Mixed up orders. Below average food. Took 50 mins for starter to arrive (chips and salsa). Another 30 for mains to arrive. Had to get up and ask three separate members of staff, on three separate occasions for cutlery. Worth adding that the place had more members of staff in the restaurant than customers at the time too. Food pretty poor in terms of value too. Chicken fajitas consisted of half a grilled chicken breast and about two large onions with microwaved tortillas from a plastic bucket. Only reason I’m not giving one star is that I managed to avoid getting food poisoning.

Excellent food and quick service, nice ambience, well worth a visit

Another successful visit to another chiquitos, food was great and fresh again, had a bit of a wait for our mains due to some confusion but we were compensated with some money off our bill so that was nice and it definitely didn't put us off going again, not sure I'll order the Texan burger again though as there was some sort of spicy mayo that I wasn't expecting to blow my head off but it did, however the lettuce tacos were amazing and I had to pinch a couple of my wifes jalapeno poppers which with a jam that I hope they sell by the jar because I for one would absolutely buy by the case load I added a photo of me waiting for my burger for humour

Loved it! Staff is very friendly. Had the bbq pork and chicken fagita , loved it. Friends hac chicken burguer it looked great. Prices are ok. Loved the atmosphere, big tables loads of fun for a meal with friends. I will come back. Usually not too busy, didnt have a reservation.
