Called in for breakfast earlier today and both myself and my son had the awesome big breakfast bap. Ingredients and flavours were all excellent. As ever the staff were friendly and efficient and we will definitely be back. A great local bistro with bags of community spirit 👏

Stopped here for brunch on the way home from portaferry, and it didn't disappoint! I really needed something refreshing and tasty and thats exactly what I got! Staff were very friendly made conversation asking where we were from and didn't we enjoy our night away even with the place being very busy they still took time to make sure we had what we needed

My family and I recently had a very positive experience at Sugarcane restaurant. We found the breakfast to be of good quality and reasonably priced. The staff's professionalism and dedication were particularly noteworthy, representing a level of service I have not encountered in recent years. We extend our gratitude for a pleasant dining experience.

Kids pancakes and brownie went down a treat, the fresh fruit was a great bonus too. Service was friendly and server engaged well with the kids. Not the first time I’ve enjoyed coffee and food from this coffee shop and will return when back in Comber and in need of a café.

Very good cafe. I haven't eaten a meal there but go in from time to time and have a coffee and traybake. Coffee and traybakes are both excellent. Staff are really friendly and efficient. Recommended.

“You just don’t expect a £60 bill when you go into a cafe, do you?” Yes, when the food comes at this price tag, it does require more scrutiny. Our food was quite nice, but I don’t think it was worth the price. I had squid rings which while being good, were comparable to other establishments that do them cheaper. I liked the local emphasis put on serving Hamilton potatoes, but both the chips and fries were a bit soggy and anaemic and didn’t do them justice. The price for non-dairy milk (only oat was available, don’t know if they only ever have oat or if they have more options usually) is 70p, about double the standard, and certainly more than the people who do it for free. I understand some of the reasoning behind the extra price but I’m lactose intolerant and don’t have much choice in the matter. My caramel latte was £4.30. The atmosphere was that of a local cafe. We were seated facing a wall right beside the toilet. The staff started to clear up around us while we were eating, scraping chairs, despite not closing for another hour if I’m correct. I think if you’re trying to provide an upscale dining experience you should reflect that in your décor.

Really delicious breakfast/brunch spot with multiple veggie and vegan options, friendly staff and comfy seats. Very clean, accessible toilet also available. Lots of tray bakes and buns for a sweet treat. Would highly recommend the veggie breakfast bruschetta 10/10
