Cromwell Cottage Northampton

Me and my colleague were working on site over 2 days.. My thanks to Michaela, Lizzy and the rest of the staff for all the support we were given during our visit. ---------- The Cromwell Cottage is a very popular venue with exceptional decor and a team of very friendly staff. The kitchen was sending out some great looking food to many happy diners. Photos shown this is a really great looking place to eat and relax Well worth a visit.. 😎 (D)

I came in with my parents, one of my sisters and my girlfriend and her mum for my 18th birthday dinner. We had Jess as our waitress and she was so lovely and went above and beyond to create the best atmosphere and provide an amazing experience for this special day, the chefs even wrote happy birthday on the plate of my dessert! Thank you so much :)

The food at The Cromwell Cottage was absolutely exceptional – full of flavour and beautifully presented. It’s a very popular spot, so it was busy when we visited, which adds to the lively atmosphere. The only downside is that parking can be tricky; we’ve been twice and struggled to find a spot. Still, it’s definitely worth the visit for a great meal in Northampton. It’s conveniently located close to the M1 motorway, making it an easy stop when heading south towards London. From there, you can connect to the M25 and other major routes into the city, so it’s perfect for a meal break on the way.

Good friendly service. Atmosphere is good, light and airy with good space between each table. Food was good, we went for: Starters - pan fried king prawns, chicken liver parfait and octopus. Octopus was delicious. Parfait was great and the fig sauce really worked well, could have done with more breast/toast. Main - fillet steak and lamb shank. The lamb shank was delicious and the chips with the steak were lovely and crisp. Dessert - we opted for the mini desserts which was a prefect way to end the meal. Thank you.

Apr25- a charming pub with contemporary decorating and dining. Lovely location. Smart inside and out. Lovely seating area outside, large restaurant and a snug area too. Food was excellent. One of the best octopus I've had in a while on a bed of samphire, veg and lentils. Aubergine lasagne was a pleasant surprise and the beef roast was enjoyed with the largest Yorkshire pudding! Lemon slice dessert was sharp and sweet. Service was professional, pleasant and friendly. Got a bit busy later. Would recommend the food for sure!

Really gorgeous food and great atmosphere. We sat outside with our dog on a lovely summers evening. Meal was really enjoyable and staff were lovely, particularly Elle our hostess.

Perfect place to have a lovely lunch and dinner with family and friends! The atmosphere is breathtaking, very nice fireplaces, beautiful pieces of music playing in the background. The service is fantastic, very polite and professional waiters who are doing their job BRILLIANTLY. Very caring and positive people. The food was also excellent, the starter came after only 3 minutes of waiting. Very quick and delicious! Definitely will be coming back!! ❤️

Lunch was great. Good time to go as it was reasonably quiet. Our waitress was Ella P who was really friendly, efficient and attentive - she made the experience even better. Couldn’t think of anything to make it more enjoyable!
