Tequila & Lime Restaurant and Cocktail Bar

We visited Tequila & Lime the day before Valentines as a pre-theatre dinner. I'd booked a table that afternoon via the Open Table app. When we arrived we noticed how quiet it was, with only 2 other people in the restaurant which seemed a shame. The decor of the restaurant is really nice, modern, but blended nicely with a Mexican theme. We were greeted straight away by the server and I told her that we had a reservation. There were lots of signs on tables but not one for us and it seemed there was no record of our reservation. That aside we taken straight to a table and the server explained how everything worked. There is an extensive cocktail menu which I could have happily worked my way through and the food menu was great. Enough choice without being overwhelming. We ordered drinks to start, I had a cocktail and my Husband had a pint. The cocktail was served in a very generous glass, but was definitely on the weak side. We took a few more minutes to choose what we wanted to eat and finally decided to order a selection of dishes that we could both share. We picked the beef tacos, pulled chicken fajitas, crispy chicken loaded fries and nachos. It didn't take too long for the food to arrive and it was all presented beautifully. The beef tacos were amazing, and I could have quite happily eaten double. The fajitas were also very nice, it would have been nicer to have a bit more of the salsa, cheese, etc to put in them though as it was nowhere near enough to go round 4 portions. The nachos were also good. The loaded fries looked amazing and the flavour and quantity were perfect, but they were let down by the chicken being very dried out. Almost like it had been cooked and then reheated. Once we'd finished our food, we asked for the bill as we were heading to the theatre. The total bill was £49, which I thought was really good for the amount of food we had, as well as drinks. It's a shame that we were the only ones in the restaurant for the time we were there, which was about an hour and 15 minutes. The restaurant is lovely and the server was friendly and attentive without being pushy. Aside from a few niggles, we really enjoyed our visit and will happily return. Hopefully more people will discover this little gem in the town centre!

Sept/24: The BEST bottomless brunch I’ve ever been to! We walked in and the vibes were immaculate. We sat down and they explain the bottomless brunch experience (with a complimentary shot for my friend’s birthday). Call buttons situated on the table made ordering drinks the easiest. We were swiftly attended to about any concerns (next drinks, more napkins, more straws; nothing was too much). The selection of drinks were amazing: tasty and easily drinkable. The food was incredible! Though the selection seemed limited, none of us were disappointed. We were offered a starter and main or a mains and dessert. We went with starters and mains. The wings were amazing, the tacos too with lovely cheesy pockets for start. Full of flavour and very filling. The staff were the stars of the show however; they were so attentive, so friendly and happy to have a laugh with you. This was the most amazing place to come to and I would recommend to anyone in Northampton to come to. The bottomless brunch was brilliant but even for a bite to eat or a drink, it was incredible. Update: Jan 25 - Can confirm that this place is still amazing! Fantastic service from super friendly staff. My only comment would be to be prepared for the stairs down to the toilets if you’re wearing heels. Definitely worth coming here for an experience for a fun, lively and joyous bottomless brunch!

We went for dinner and cocktails here. We had an amazing night. The cocktails were so tasty and so many options. The food was delicious and we even got a rose with our dinner. It was an amazing experience and would definitely recommend visiting this restaurant.

The food was so so good, full of flavour, good prices, plenty of choice. The cocktails were tasty and they weren't shy with the alcohol, favourite was the daiquiri. Staff were lovely and helpful. Atmosphere was cute, Latin music playing. Tequila is a must 😄🌶️

Really friendly and helpful staff, I do like the button on the table to alert the waiters rather than waiting for a chance to catch their attention. Food came out hot, and was very tasty. Mocktails were very nice too. Would definitely come again to enjoy more of the menu

Decent value food and friendly staff, recommend. Definitely order a couple of plates if you're hungry, we split a 2 dishes and a loaded fries between 2 of us. Food would benefit from a few more jalapeños thrown in, but that's a personal preference.

We went for some drinks with some friends great music and loved the cocktails great atmosphere and nice service. Next time I will get food. Good times
