I have passed here many a time but yesterday I had a lovely meal there with my Mum. The steak was wonderful and my Mum had the cheese board for a main because of it's large size. Nice staff and pleasant surroundings. Went again with more family members and had another enjoyable meal.

Arrived at midday on Sunday just before noon to 4 people and 15 minutes later it was packed with locals. Service was good & friendly. The prices are really good. Atmosphere was good. I would definitely recommend.

Tuesday is Pie & Pint night. Steak & Stilton pie is without doubt the best I've ever had. Rhubarb & Custard for afters was great. Best pub food ever!

The Cartright's, Val Mart Jac Ray, Sunday lunch is simply The best, food is delicious wholesome fresh and tasty, the staff are kind caring and helpful, thank you Paul Megan and lovely Julie we miss you.see you very soon.

We came here for the first time today for a Sunday roast. It was absolutely lovely and well worth the £15 for two courses. The ladies that served us were very friendly and helpful. We will be coming back.
