Cheers Restaurant

First time at Cheers Restaurant last night for my birthday meal - the starters were great and I did have extra king prawns which were my favourite. The sirloin steak just beat the rump in my opinion, but both were very tasty and we enjoyed cooking it on the table grill. My only comment would be the accompanying dishes weren’t really to my taste, rice was not hot and bland, black beans my hubby ate, and only veg choice was spinach, which I did enjoy. Would be good to have a few more choices of veg for those of us who prefer a healthier option to chips. Sangria was very nice and I really appreciated the slice of cake and glass of Prosecco to celebrate my birthday - thank you Service was excellent and very attentive, replenishing food and drinks regularly - our thanks go to Pedro and Jessica for making the evening so enjoyable. First class staff.

Our first time here as Cheers Restaurant, celebrating with family. We do remember this as the Surrey Tavern and interesting to see how it has changed. Good to see the restaurant busy on a Friday evening. There is a bar and the team kindly offered us the table early to enjoy a drink or two beforehand. Super Bock as a beer with memories of our time in Portugal. The two red wines my wife found on the list were unavailable, but found two more which matched the steaks nicely. Our servers Bruno & Tiagolookedc after us really well ... Thank you,! Tomahawk steak for two was fun on the hot rocks. My wife's t bone steak was even jucier 🥩😋 Good desserts all eaten before photos taken 😆 Recommended

Lovely meal with my sister this evening at Cheers! The steak was cooked to perfection but my sister liked hers more cooked. So it was great that the steak was served on a hot stone so she could have hers cooked more. The prawns were delicious too. Great friendly service from Giusy & Tiago! Cheers to Cheers 🥂

Absolutely surreal experience! The service of a 5-star restaurant, with food to match but the price was a shock!! I thought the price was per person but it was for the two of us!! I will be visiting every month I imagine. And taking my friends too!! Thanks to all the staff for a real top notch experience.

The food is extremely delicious and the service is extremely excellent! The environment in the store is very nice! It's the best choice for a group meal!

Great value for money! Alice served me and my boyfriend this evening, she was so friendly and made good suggestions in regards to the menu. The prices were really reasonable and there was great atmosphere. We will be returning!!! Thank you Alice :)

Bruno was our server tonight he was very accommodating making sure we were happy the entire time, always topped up with steak and changed our stone multiple times to ensure cooking was top tier. Steak was lovely seasoned to perfection by the chef. Even though it was a quiet slow night we were made to feel welcome from start to finish
