Casa Italian & Seafood Restaurant

First time in Nottingham so hadn’t made a booking. There were four of us and we were accommodated despite it being busy. The staff are attentive, friendly and we were very well looked after. They explained the dishes and kept our drinks topped up! The food was excellent. It arrived hot and the flavours were on point. Definitely recommend

I came to this restaurant for my birthday meal after hearing such great reviews and they did not disappoint. My experience was 10/10. The service was amazing, the staff were so lovely and to top it off, the food was gorgeous. I highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit! I will definitely be returning.

Had my birthday celebration in here and it was such a good experience to spend my special moment here. We were warmly welcomed and served extraordinarily. The romanian waitress with the glasses (sorry I forgot not to ask her name) was giving the best she can and I got such extremely great service from her. Paid attention to detail, made sure that my food was tasty, and kept us comfort. The food was unbelievably delicious as well. We didnt need to wait for such a long time to get the foods served. Highly recommend this place.

We had a lovely meal here with genuine Italian food. Everything was cooked and presented well. The service was kind and attentive. The ambiance of the restaurant was pleasant. The location is excellent and we would definitely return.

My mum found this restaurant online for a bite to eat before heading to the Theatre Royal and it didn’t disappoint. I don’t usually write reviews but the food was just phenomenal! The service was friendly, very fast and with one particular server, very funny 😁 We got there early at around 4.30pm but it soon got busy and the atmosphere was great! Would certainly visit again!

Lovely atmosphere with good service, HOWEVER. Worst of all was the Shearing starter, Fittura Mista (Crispy seafood starter) £26! They advertise it as £13 but it’s for a minimum of two which is a little confusing & cheeky. It wasn’t crispy as advertised, infact the batter was soft, sweaty and tasted like egg! Not appetising at all. We had Lamb rump for mains and although very nice it was missing a potato of some kind, so like proper Brits we ordered chips. Finally the desert, I asked if they were freshly made in-house the waiter confirmed they were. They’re weren’t . I had a chocolate fondant which looked microwaved and tasted like it was too, so definitely should not have been £10. Mrs had a Panna Cotta which was nice but not fresh as the base was solid because it was microwaved. £130!! Rip off. Overall I think this place is Over priced & serves basic food at best. Will not recommend & will not return

Best service I've had in a long time and the portion sizes were very generous, most of us ended up having to take some home with us. Only fault I can pick as someone who drives is paying for parking but we found plenty of spaces round the back. They were generous enough to give the entire table shots and even gave the birthday boy a complimentary dessert when they heard it was someone's birthday. The layout of the restaurant was also very nice and felt like we were dining in a high end restaurant.

Great service, didn't have to wait long between courses. Staff were all fantastic. Food was absolutely fine and good quality but wasn't particularly traditional which was a bit of a disappointment. Carpaccio had mustard on it and too much which just drowned out the flavour. Tiramisu was really underwhelming. Given the staff were mostly Italian speaking I thought it would be a much more traditional restaurant and didn't live up to expectations given the prices.
