Restaurant Sat Bains with Rooms

We recently attended RSB and it was a experience we will never forget. From front of house to kitchen, our day was flawless. We were treated to an upgrade and sat in the kitchen with Megan "pastry chef" she was warm and welcoming. Our sommelier was Andre, his knowledge and passion for wine shined and ensured he brought each flavour of our wine to match to our food. Anna took us into the herb Garden for a special pizza and champagne course, Anna was so friendly and kind. She put us at ease and told us stories about her dog while feeding us the best pizza we've ever had! Each of our courses were served by the Chefs who cooked them, Felix, Dan and Anna. After we finished we were invited into the main kitchen to eat our final pudding which was delicious. All the food we had on the day was outstanding, nothing like we had tried before. Stand out moments, girolle tart, the scallops, the popcorn pudding, pizza, my seas bass and Emma's grouse...the list is endless and it's etched In our mind forever. It was great to meet John and thank him and the team for our special day. Hopefully we'll have the pleasure of coming again. Credit to all the staff, you were simply the best x

Wow! What an experience we had. We opted for the overnight stay, allowing us to experience the tasting menu plus breakfast the following day and it was definitely worth the stay. The service was impeccable! From stepping through the door for checking-in through to the moment we left, the staff were attentive and really made the stay feel special. The food was just incredible, so many experiences within the food through services changes, it was just delightful ❤️ Would highly recommend if you're looking for top quality food with fab service, the stay was worth it and something we'd love to do again ✨

We were looking forward to our stay and dinner for weeks as it was part of our vacation and we were not a bit disappointed. The whole team made us feel very welcome from beginning to end and accommodated to all our wishes. The room itself was cozy and relaxing. Of course we also had the tasting menu and chose to go with the "Overture" courses. We loved the food, which was local, of very high quality and exceptionally well composed as a menu. Special thanks to Josh, who made us feel at ease and contributed to a relaxed atmosphere, which we highly appreciated. Also the surprise in the green house was an excellent idea and seeing Sat himself at the end just made it perfect. Thank you all and if we weren't living as far as Hamburg, we would definitely return again!

An amazing out of this world Anniversary treat an overnight stay and full tasting menu experience. I could never find enough wonderful words to describe how much we enjoyed our visit. The service and staff were fantastic over and above any normal experience. But the food deserves its own range of superlatives the chef's are without doubt incredibly talented and a credit to Sat Baines ( who was in the kitchen) If you ever want to try an unforgettable experience this is it well done and thank you.

My partner & I recently went for dinner and it was something never experienced before. We went for the 11 course menu which with a few surprises thrown in, turned into effectively a 14 course - each course worthy of the accolades and just got better as it went on. From the moment you are greeted at the main door to the moment you leave, the service and standards do not drop. Every member of the team is friendly, attentive, fun & knowledgeable. Describing each drink & each dish in how it was made and presented - not in a rehearsed robotic way, but in an informative fun way. An experience we will never forget - thank you.

A lunch with a friend to celebrate our big birthdays! It was wonderful. The staff were professional and efficient yet relaxed and the food was sublime. The flavours of every course were layered and deep from the cheese croquette and soup, through the crab, mushroom, lamb, duck and seabass dishes to the cheese, biscuits and ice cream. Wow...a surprise with every dish..all superbly presented in a beautiful atmosphere.

You will see from other reviews that the location of this restaurant may not be what you might expect, but look beyond because once you are into the RSB bubble, the experience is wonderful. We had dinner with another couple on a July evening. The food offering is fresh thoughtful and very pretty but above all, the quality of the service is exceptional. Special note for 'Greenhouse Anna' (one of the courses is served in the greenhouse, although they check that you are comfortable with that) - she is a delight and a real credit to the team; also how we were so openly invited to take a look around the kitchen and meet the staff, indeed the final course was served in the kitchen. Overall, a wonderful stay - thank you.

They deserve the accolades. I wouldn't normally spend that much for a meal, but it was worth it, and i'm glad it exists. When people love what they do and they are masters of their craft, it commands respect. I was able to give my Mum not only a memorable meal, but an all round experience.
