Stumbled acces Sakuna purely by chance on route to another restaurant so decided to take the plunge here instead We had Tempura Vegtables and Thai Prawn Crackers to start followed by the Tamarind Duck and the Tiger King Prawn Drunkun Rain Forrest Stir Fry (Crazy Hot). All the food was amazing super tasty and excellent value for money. Wine was excellent value too. If you’re in Poole give this one a whirl

A wonderful family run restaurant with great Thai food. Four of us shared four entrees and two mains with a bottle of white and a bottle of red. A very reasonable £100. It is said that the way to judge whether a Thai restaurant is good is the fish cakes - they can be rubbery. The mam and and dad chefs (Ong-Art and Sakuna) make them and they are succulent. Worth a visit for just these. The restaurant is small so recommend you book. All tables were full when we dined there on a Tuesday evening. Suchawadee a delightful young lady who served us was wonderful. Away from the main drag it’s a pleasant restaurant.

Check your bill! Know what you were supposed to be being charged and check that you were charged according to the menu. Ever since I was cheated on another trip, I always get my receipt especially if it's the tap your card and go. This is the second time I have found an anomaly, and it's funny how it's never in the customer's favour. Always take your receipt and review it before you leave. There is no atmosphere to speak of, but The food was delicious. Watch out for that chili pepper. Almost killed me if I hadn't had some milk on the table for my tea. The reason the review is mixed is because when I ordered, she assured me that the mixed vegetables would come with the shrimp and that price was 8.95gbp. When the check came, it was 12.95. That is a 33% increase and would definitely have affected my choice if I had known. Even if I had known the price, I might have been ok with it, who knows. But just as money is important to them, it's important to me. I went from wanting to eat there every other day, to feeling deceived. Check your bills everybody.

Good experience. Waiters were helpful and helped to choose food. Service was excellent. Venue is a bit run down and lack of certain options such as coconut rice made it a 4 star experience. I would also skip the sharing platter, thought it was to dear for £15. Other than that it was good.

Came here on the off chance as original plans turned out to be a bit too pricey. Glad we did as it really was cheap and cheerful and really authentic. There was one table and they needed it back within hour, no problem for us as we are quick eaters lol! Ordered coconut soup, mixed fried rice, chicken peanut sauce, slow cooked ribs and rice. Food was really tasty snd authentic and could definitely recommend. Service was friendly and efficient and appreciate being fit in. Only friendly advise I would recommend is I saw them turn couples away when there was a two person sitting at a four table which table could have been separated. All about earning more peas right 😇

Really lovely food, everything we had was delicious.. you must try the drunk in the forest stir fry with seafood - it's amazing! The service was excellent and the staff were lovely. The only negative was that it was far too hot in the restaurant, this left us feeling like we needed to hurry our food and couldn't stay for more drinks because it was just too warm to drink alcohol in there. Would definitely visit again but request a table by the door.
