Salty Towers Fish & Chips Portland

The customer service was amazing, i eat here often due to how lovely the staff are. The first time i ever came in i was so tired and about to pass out, staff offered me a chair to sit down while i waited for my order. Another time i went to order something over than my usual cheesy chips, unfortunately it was late and they were getting ready to close, to compensate they offered my usual with extra cheese. Everytime i walk in they have been extremely polite and sweet, would defend this chip shop staff with my life xx Wish i could give a million stars!!

We ordered cod and chips, burger and mozzarella sticks. First time ordering and will definitely be returning. We had our order delivered, it was prompt and hot on arrival. Good food and friendly staff.

Went to watch sunset on Portland and was going to try salty towers on the way. Internet said close 8:30 pm Monday also said this on the door, got there 8:15 pm all shut up, not a very good start for my first visit, find a lot chip shops are shut Monday. we went over the road for a couple of co op meal deals 3.50 each we got lidt chocolate bar 473 ml red bull and pack of prawn sandwichs each. A lot cheaper than fish and chips and it didn't matter about getting cold B4 we got to where we were going. Co op open till 11pm so more reliable than chip shops. While I was there other people went to salty towers so not just us that were caught out, still we got a better deal as can purchase 3 co op meal deals for less than one portion of fish & chips and get a lot more stuff plus fish & chips are not healthy, old people like me can remember when fish & chips wasn't a rip off. Less than 50p in 1970s 10p in the 1960s (2 shillings)

Visited for first time tonight, extremely busy, very popular, long delays which were obvious and they were apologetic. Food was amazing, team were great under pressure. I had a meal deal which was perfect meal for me. Prices very reasonable for the quality and portion size. My only request is the tartar sauce sold neare room temperature rather than chilled. It's too cold to put on the fish. Thank you for a great dinner.

Had a lovely burger from here this week. Was so impressed to find somewhere doing proper meaty burgers in the day time. Fast delivery. Lovely food and even custom made to my preferences. Friendly staff and good prices.

Really busy - which is a good sign, but did mean there was a long wait. Lovely, kind lady serving, so friendly. Chips were great, haddock was fresh. Would definitely go again.

Lovely food, great service. A little wait but food cooked fresh so well worth the wait every time! Had the fish recently seems they are even better than normal! I think everyone has different tastes with food, but never been let down yet!

I had a jacket potato with cheese a couple of nights ago and it was lovely with lots of cheese Had one today with cheese and beans and it was almost none existent Totally disgusted and would recommend to try somewhere else
