Amazing food! Fantastic service! Wonderful presentation! The Avilah team catered at my wedding a couple of months ago and it was just absolutely fantastic! The food came in abundance, our guests talked and raved about the quality of the ingredients and the variety of yummy food served even after the day! Nike and team even packed a very hefty and full takeaway pack for both families and ourselves. From our initial tasting session till the wedding day, Nike was extremely professional, going over every detail to make sure everything will run smoothly and it very much did. We are super grateful for the attention to detail, professionalism and care that was shown to us throughout the process. I would highly recommend Avilah foods to anyone who wants and expects a high standard of food service on their special day! Thank you so much Nike & team ❤️❤️❤️

Shocking experience! It took over an hour to deliver, the children’s jollof and rice was too chilli, the chicken was tough and only one piece. The beef was as tough as gum, you couldn’t chew it all at, two small pieces of beef in the dish for an expensive portion. Totally disappointed!

Iv ordered a few times form here off Deliveroo , I don’t eat meat and iv called ahead and asked for them to keep it vegetarian and they’ve always been so lovely and accommodating. The food itself is absolutely incredible so full of flavour and tastes like it’s made with a lot of love.

Avilah catered my wedding. The team was on time, professional and the food provided was amazing. I got many compliments from my guests. It was also very easy to contact the company on the lead up to the wedding. They were happy to answer all my questions. I spoke directly with Nikki and she was lovely. Avilah, I think has the best Nigerian food in the whole of Reading. I have never been here and been disappointed, and I love bringing friends of different nationalities here. The food is exquisite - always so tasty, served piping hot from the kitchen and worth the price. Excellent portion sizes as well. I was here very recently with my family - we were looked after incredibly well by the very lovely FiFi (honestly, I hope she gets an increase in salary for the way she treats guests at the restaurant) She was very kind, attentive and made my family (especially my Dad) and I feel very welcome - being attended to by her made the dining experience all the more pleasant. You could tell that the other guests at the restaurant appreciated the warmth in her manner as well. Thank you Fifi for your kindness and hospitality! Thank you Avilah!

Ordered jollof rice, lamb suya and puff puff from Uber eats and it did not disappoint! The perfect level of flavour and spice that brings a reminder of home. Will definitely recommend this place

It was recommended to by a friend so I went and ordered croaker with yam. They didn’t have that . They told me they had Tilapia instead so I ordered it with a Guinness . Half way through my drink they came out to tell me they would have to charge more than the price on the menu because the Tilapia was bigger. It’s ridiculous so I finished my drink and was out of the place.

I and my girlfriend thoroughly enjoyed this establishment and all of its offerings. I had the Poundo Yam Swallow complimented by the Efo Riro stew, and we both had a Sharing Platter of the small chops that filled our bellies and then some - I made my Nigerian GF and her mother proud as an oyinbo (Aspiring Naija Boy 😄). Fifi and Tayo were amazing hosts as well. 🇳🇬 🇬🇧
