Cafe Amigo

I was the only person in a queue of, one. Three teenage staff members noticed me but carried on cleaning and arranging for at least two minutes before one served me. Nice tea, which was needed to break down the dry slice of cake. Such a shame. A really nice looking place.

My motorcycle friends and I called in to Amigos on Sunday 12 Oct. The staff, cakes and especially the coffee were all exceptional!! Can’t wait to return. The owner took time to say hi and also explain her on site coffee roasting process. Make time to drop in, it was amazing. 👍

What a wonderful café! A warm welcome with excellent service, fantastic food, brilliant coffee, all in a super-cool setting! It’s the first place I have been to where you can see your coffee being roasted!

Really nice cafe with a bit of a Mexican twist. Serves its own roasted beans coffee, and boy was it delicious. Couple it with some tasty food, it completes this really nice fun cafe on the edge of Fowlmere.

This is a personal favourite for us. It’s a lovely space in a great location. We use it as a break in the journey to Norwich, from Southampton. Great coffee and food. They roast their own beans and sell them too! They even have some books and games our little daughter can play with. Highly recommend

Found it by chance and loved it!!! I loved the decor and attention to detail . Lots of tables inside and out with umbrellas plus an extra room on the side under cover. We had cakes and lovely coffee and it’s dog friendly!!! Quirky Burtie lived it and in true style fir being famous he threw himself on the floor right outside the cafe to the giggles of everyone!!😂

What a lovely find! Visited RSPB Fowlmere on a chilly day and was pretty peckish. Got there about 3.30pm and they still had plenty of tasty food on offer, so for a very late lunch I had a hearty chicken and veg soup with sourdough and a decaf cappuccino - proper coffee, not a pod. Staff were friendly and welcoming. It was really busy but they seemed unruffled. Lovely atmosphere, with music playing and funky, quirky decor. We'll be back!

Fabulous find just a short drive from the RSPB nature reserve is this little hidden gem of a coffee shop. Really quirky with some excellent wall art both inside and in the outdoor area. Lovely coffee, Latte was one of the best ever! A touch pricier than the high St shops but well worth it. Staff all good and pleasant. Highly recommended.
