Having had a bad curry in the past with which contacted them to be fobbed off to call back another time, a year later we thought we would try again. Unfortunately, this one was worse. Nothing tasted of anything. Mushroom rice was bland. Both curries (1 x chicken. And 1x prawn) had no flavour, No consistency. Not really understanding all the five star reviews, much better take aways in the area.

Nice small place, collected takeaway whilst camping nearby, food was excellent. Had chicken tikka massalla, chicken makhani, vegatable biriyani, saag aloo, pilau rice, garlic naans as a family. All delicious, vegatable biriyani and chicken tikka massalla were particularly delicious. The only feedback was that the makhani was a bit buttery, but that may just be our taste. Staff were friendly. Highly recommend.

Food taste great but, when asked one day one of them if there is anything not made with a TOXIC seed oils but ghee, I was told only veggies and all the rest on the menu cannot be made separately. Other day I have asked other one (thought I get the veggies an grilled meat) and I was told they can make anything with the ghee. Maybe my mistake, with ghee dose not mean fried exclusively on it. Be honest, don’t POISON the people! Food used to be a medicine…

As a family we have been getting food from spice cottage for the last 3 years every Sunday and never once have we been disappointed. Food is excellent and staff are friendly. No complaints at all, I highly recommend trying it.
