Lovely chips friendly staff, great portions, prices reasonable. Ate in one night, take out another night, fish, battered sausages, chicken, chips and peas all good. Busy as its very popular. Would recommend 👌

Quick stop in Welshpool on the way back to the midlands and we were STARVING! We found this little Gem of a chip shop. WOW! Incredible food. Fish / sausage/ kebab meat / chips 10/10! Enjoyed every second. Thanks so much Silver fish team you were also so friendly. We will be back on our next trip to wales! No photo I’m afraid it was gone in 5 seconds! 🤣 Go get yourself some of that perfection! 😍😍😍😍

I chose this takeaway because it was busy with the locals, so must be good. I wasn't disappointed. Tasty fish. Light, crispy batter. Large chip portions. Quite delicious.

Typical high street fish & chip shop, staff very pleasant and polite. Normal menu items but expandia bit to include roast dinners, chicken curry, and ham and eggs, I don't know the quality of these dishes but the fish and chips we had were lovely. Plenty of seating available, and one unisex toilet which was clean and tidy. My only real negative was the coffee, it was, IMO, atrocious, basic Nescafé two spoons of coffee and a drop of milk, I had to ask for extra milk for the wife's mug. Super strong builders coffee it would appear, but it might be what the regulars want so who am I to complain as we were only passing through, but in the cutthroat market of daytime eating and offering, even if the one touch coffee machines that are seen in many outlets now might drag in more customers? 🤔 If you're after a tasty quick meal would recommend, especially as they do offer a kids and OAP reduced size menu👍

Good fish and chip shop, the staff were all lovely and friendly. Its right in the town centre. There's no parking outside but you can park at the main car park opposite. Only rating it down as we were all disappointed as found the food and bit too oily.

Passing visit (and we're glad we chose Silverfish 👍) Cracking chippy Food was lovely, piping hot and plenty of it. (largest jumbo sausage I've ever had from a chippy! 😂) Staff were great and the service was prompt. Highly recommended!
