I only review generally if it’s good - and this place is very good! Very good level of spice, dishes with two chillis on the menu are enough to give you a good kick! I had a Shabji Garlic Chilli with a little less spice, it wasn’t Madras hot but it was enough spice while still being very tasty. Rice and naan also very good, Bangladesh beer Bangla very smooth. All in all a very delightful curry. Only comment I would make; it would be nice to see their specialities on the menu based on the chefs specific region - however this is a very minor point and personal preference.

I’m travelling to Scotland - my car was breakdown, my recovery van was waiting for me, I just gone to restaurant ordered food chicken curry , nan and rice . They gave me very quick with in 5 min food was on our table . Chicken curry with methi it was a very tasty. Nice staff and service and excellent authentic Indian cuisine ! Referred to everyone .

Food was good until it wasn't 😳. There was something gritty in my curry after I'd eaten most of it. I told the staff about this and they weren't able to offer any recompense for this sadly. Need to brush up on their customer service. I actually enjoyed most of the food and don't like leaving a duff review. This doesn't appear to be the usual offering fortunately.

At the end of a long and tiring journey full of challenges the universe was throwing at us (KLM for the second time in 3 months leaving my luggage in Amsterdam, getting to know the reliability of the British railway system a bit better, etc) we arrived in Welshpool, the starting point of the second half of OFFA’S dyke. Monday night, nothing open except the Royal Oak Hotel restaurant, Spice UK, a fish and chippy, and some kebab places. We decided on Spice UK. And what a choice! Voted best Indian based on my 35 years roaming around the UK! We let ourselves be surprised by the kind waiter. He treated us to mildly spicy chicken and lamb dishes with some saag aloo and cauliflower on the side. The taste composition and texture combinations where an amazing treat of the taste buds. Thank you so much team!

Very friendly staff are always helpful and have a smile. Good deal on half price mains on a Tuesday is worth going for. Food is fresh and well cooked it's delicious if a little more spice than we usually find but it's not super hot, just a nice kick on the 2 chilli labelled dishes. 4 starters, 4 mains, 3 naan, 2 sides and a round of drinks cost us just over £80. Good for a treat.

We arrived in Shrewsbury for a hike the next morning. Found this lovely restaurant where the food was so tasty. Was really impressed. The staff were amazing. The atmosphere and decor was really nice too. Highly recommend to others for tasty authentic asian food.

We had a lovely meal here on a Monday early evening with attentive friendly staff serving tasty quality food We had chicken passanda and jhinga roshni with garlic rice and mushroom rice cooked beautifully With the main town car park just around the corner Its easy to visit with our camper when passing through the area Well done guys, a great experience 👍
