We happened upon it by chance after a long journey; the restaurant is very small but quaint, well finished and simple. The staff friendly and the service very fast. The menu represents typical English cuisine, including choices for children and vegetarians. I soon have the roast of the day, it really impressed me in a positive way!

Popped in with my wife when we were in Welshpool, absolutely beautiful food, I had the breakfast while my wife had the quiche, salad and a jacket potato both served with a delicious latte. Highly recommended.

There are other cafes in the area and they must be better than this one. We ordered a couple of toasties but a group that came in and ordered after us, got their food before us. The hot chocolate was watery. The milkshake was the power form from the supermarket with cream on it but at a crazy price and the toastie was more bread than any ingredients. Yet it all looked great though. But the bill was definitely not worth it. Also there is only 1 toilet so you'll be waiting if it's busy. Don't expect service with a smile either. I'd go elsewhere if I were you, they look busier for a reason! If you do go here, I hope you have a better experience than we did. Good luck.

The cafe was nice, the staff were nice and friendly and the service was good but the food wasn't so good. I had an English breakfast, and the sausages taste and look like they were cheap, frozen supermarket sausages. The bacon was way too salty. The hash brown was very oily. I didn't enjoy it at all.

We made a special journey to have breakfast here on Monday 2/9/19. We'd been in the past and enjoyed our breakfast and the warm welcome and this time was no different. With staff that have over 20years service invested in the tuck box, serving and waiting and loads of involvement as a business with local good causes. How can you go wrong, when going here. Good staff and good food.

Would not recommend this place at all cheap sausage and black pudding cheap tea bags and coffee says its dog friendly but definitely is not we went in because of this sat down I got my little dog on my lap and the mouthy waitress shouted from the back you can't put dogs on seats she was lucky she didn't get a punch in the mouth her attitude was terrible I'm surprised they get any customers go in there there's only 1 toilet that everyone has to use its a disgrace I will never go in again and would not recommend it to anyone.
