I had a very disappointing experience at lakshmi’s. The customer service was extremely poor. The waitresses were unprofessional, unfriendly, and showed no basic manners. They didn’t greet us upon arrival, didn’t check in during the meal, and didn’t even say goodbye when we left. On top of that, the waiting time for our order was unreasonably long. The staff were incredibly slow, unattentive, and seemed completely uninterested in serving us. Their attitude was dull and disengaged, making the whole dining experience uncomfortable and unpleasant. In a service-based business, staff should at least be polite, welcoming, and attentive to customers’ needs — unfortunately, that was not the case here. I would not recommend this place to anyone who values good customer service.

Had my husbands 70th Birthday party on the 6th of September. What a lovely experience being able to host our first party at this venue. Mr Sharma was very helpful throughout. He said bring your cake, alcohol and guests and that’s what we did. Everything else was catered for us. The hall was decorated nicely I asked for navy and that’s what we got. Food was absolutely amazing no complaints from starters, mains and pudding. The only issue is the problem of parking. As it’s a very small car park and the traffic in and out is a lot. However our guests parked on the street and we still managed. Thank you for ensuring my husbands 70th was one to remember.

We travelled all the way from Birmingham to eat here - however, found it incredibly misleading that the price of the same item in the dine in menu is almost 5 times the price in the takeaway menu for quite a few items and 2-3 times for others. We did opt in for takeaway in that case but even there found irregularities since some items were priced per pc and others per kgs which really impacted the cost effectiveness for any consumer. Regardless, taste of the food was indeed amazing- so would recommend trying for sure - yet please beware on the pricing concerns.

Lakshmi Sweet Centre offers an array of tantalizing Indian sweets & Punjabi food, each bite a burst of flavor and tradition. However, amid this culinary delight, navigating the parking situation proves to be a formidable task. Despite the challenge, the allure of their treats makes the effort worthwhile, ensuring a sweet or savoury experience that awaits those who persevere through the parking predicament.

Our 4th visit to this place over a period of a year or so. We ordered two parathas, mooli and allu. Both OK but nothing to wow about. However, on this occasion we ordered salty lassi and got two glasses of thick yogurt and no salt; ordered raita and received thick yogurt only. On followup received two small bowls of yogurt with a few thickly chopped vegetables. When we complained we were told that this is the way they do it. We also ordered onion and chilli salad which only got delivered after us having to followup after finishing some of the paratha and the small bowl of salad was thrown on the table as if the waiter couldn't care less about customers. This would be our last visit to this place, never again. Wouldn't recommend it any more. Spoilt our day.

At the recommendation of a friend, our group convened at Lakshmi Sweets & Restaurant nestled in Wolverhampton. Enticed by the prospect of genuine Indian cuisine, I eagerly delved into the culinary adventure that awaited. The mixed grill presented an enticing array of sizzling tandoori chicken, succulent lamb, and tender fish, each bite bursting with authentic flavours. The generous portion sizes ensured satisfaction, while the aromatic spices transported us to the heart of India's culinary landscape. Lakshmi Sweet Centre proved to be a hidden gem, offering a taste of traditional Indian fare amidst the Midlands. The experience was a testament to the rich diversity of flavours and the warm hospitality that defines Indian cuisine, making Lakshmi Sweets & Restaurant a destination worth revisiting for its delightful culinary offerings.

Very spacious and very upmarket feel restaurant The food is a ten out of ten for me Do try the paneer spring rolls, gulab jamun, samosas, lamb madras. Very spicy and tasty The staff are some of the nicest I've ever met - very hospitable and will do their best to make you feel welcome All the food I've tried has been outstanding Not sure about some of the negative review I've read? One thing on the spring rolls - they beat any I've tried in wolverhampton - and I've tried most of them Omg the roti is so soft Everything tastes freshly made I recommend it to all my friends J.
